But if 50 put out Pac's new CD with original beats that are moderinized (ex. What was done to songs like Letter 2 The President and Tear Drops & Closed Caskets. If you hear the OG's, from the retail versions, the beat's on those songs are slightly altered and and changed to sound modern), I wouldnt mind at all. And hoping he would keep all or most original artists on the tracks.
I wouln't hope they keep them. As time goes by nothing remains relevant for Amaru except Pac's vocals when they are ready to mix them with shitty beats or whatever (proved by Eminem). If 50 will have a producer status with this lp we will have much more sharper themes to discuss here, more reasons to hate on 50, and more jelousy for people who posess them originals, lol.

as it stands now we have alcoholic katari, his power hungry sister, an entertainment lawyer who plays in a metal band on the side, and a fatass who thinks his career is already legendary.
...this guy :thumb: ....i come on here just to laugh at Dantes comments i swear hahah

at this point i'd be happy to have 50 executive produce, who the fuck else is gonna make it any better? (if i got my way we'd all be loving the album, but that aint gonna happen) we can only hope 50 thinks somewhere along the same wavelength as us? & it cant be any worse than Em's piss of outta trash, i havent bothered to listen to that album from start to finish yet..i just cant, its impossible..Dante is right, why does Amaru seem so content to droppin an album a year & yet wait til a month before it drops to name it, produce it & everything that goes with it...

its like --- Jan-Sep - lay low, do some lil things here & there, enjoy the sunshine..hang out & eat --- Oct - wake up edi, hire sum producers, get some verses sent over, mix, name album, create art & do a lil publicity --- Nov - drop album, leave fans waiting for singles, videos etc --- next 11 months back to hiding out at the TASF

i'm still in denial with L2TG...i'm still waitin for someone to say "syke! we was just playin man, heres the real album, enjoy"

Signing with G-Unit would've been the best move of Pac's entire career. Don't hate, but seriously: Tony Yayo > Pac. Or at least lyrically...
this comment made me vomit a little in my mouth.

We should all jouin up and collect some money to put hits on these motherfuckers ruining Pac's legacy! Problem solved for a reasonable price.

I really hope that was sarcasm. I mean I expect that comment from a newbie, or a G Unit dickrider, or even just someone who wants to create an arguement, but not you!

I'm not a 50 Cent hater...but then again I'm not exactly bumping his albums either. All shit aside nobody can deny his passion and knowledge of the game - if this is at all true...fuck it I'd also have to lean toward allowing him to do it.

I want an album THIS September or atleast THIS YEAR...but at the rate Amaru is going they are apparently shooting for a release on the 2oth ANNIVERSARY of Pac's death.

Lets look at what we'd most likely get with 50 involved...

GREAT PROMOTION (for once) & TOP NOTCH PRODUCTION

It would probably be a double album as well.

What are the odds of 50 and G Unit ending up on a few tracks? Pretty high...But they wouldn't appear on every song on the album.

If the worse that can happen to a Pac track under 50 is 50 or G Unit being on it...I could give a fuck less. I'd either listen to it regardless or just edit the fuck out of it.

As always acapellas WILL probably leak anyway -- and mixers will quickly "fix" any "bad guest appearances". :p

Imagine Pac actually having singles...and radio play and VIDEOS and decent promotion once again.

More MONEY made = More potential Pac projects in the future.

A change is needed for Amaru ...it's damn sure the current formula isn't working.

^well, the eminem formula hasn't worked neither.
The Eminem formula was doomed from the get-go. Eminem is an incredible rapper, but beyond that, he's just a regular guy, but one who thinks he's an accomplished producer. Eminem's motivation wasn't money, since he apparently worked for free. It was solely being a part of Pac's legacy, and by offering his services free of charge, he solidified his dreams, regardless of whether the album sold one copy or ten million.

50's formula is a little bit more practical. Not only does he want to be a part of the legacy, but he wants to make MONEY and is willing to invest some of his own to magnify it. But unlike Em, 50 knows his boundaries and will limit his involvement to being an overseer and maybe dropping a verse or two and a chorus here and there (which sucks, but it could be worse, like Loyal to the Game). He knows that to make money, you need to put out decent beats and use proper marketing, both of which will happen.

To me, I'm happy if the album is overseen by anyone other than Eminem , E.D.I. or Kastro. Suge, 50 Cent, the Pope, whoever. Just not anyone who had anything to do with Loyal to the Game.

Well time will tell..^^

But following every single posthumous release we've gotten some acapellas.

As far as the Em thing...yeah that certainly didn't work out either. it was atleast a step toward doing something different. The problem there was Amaru got too amped about the tracks on the Res. soundtrack and just handed Em the whole fucking show. Him doing it for free certainly helped seal the deal.

But like everyone's said he's a rapper...a great rapper...But he's not a producer. (or not a consistently good one I should say)

Back on topic...I'm also thinking (& hoping) 50 would know his own limits and not throw himself or G Unit onto too many tracks.
