A Clearer Day

This is one of my most recent pieces, thought I would share with the forum, any form of feedback is always appreciated, thx guys n girls.


A Clearer Day
A beautiful glorious sun capturing God’s plan
This within my minds eye as I take my final stand
For I know not what tomorrow will hold in store
All I know is my vision this and nothing more
A vision more beautiful than that glorious sun
A bond to last for eternity never to be undone
As I feel the warmth of those bright rays on my face
I search deep within my own being and find not a trace
Of regret within my heart left sore from torment
I understand that those truly were times well spent
As I push my hair from my eyes I can see more clearly
Our souls finding each other was just inevitability
Long before your soul sought mine I felt utterly lost
Thought of life or death trying to decipher the cost
I could stay here all day under this strong blue blanket
Protected from the thunderstorms and able to forget
My daily nightmares the guilt and regret from my past
For as I stand here today thoughts of you will be my last
As the shadows fall around me the sun leaves the sky
I retire from this special place no longer wondering why
I leave behind me nothing for everything is beyond me
Keeping in mind my vision makes you clearer to see

i felt this chick, u placed down wat u thought very nicly, rhyming kept it flowing n that kept me really tuned in, felt ur emotion that shone thru clearly...
