Long time ago their was a rumor of a song "Afterlife" with Alannis Morsette... Any info on that? I looked at the list at 2pacshakur.net and its not their.. Is their a different title for it, or it just never existed?

I hope the Alanis Morissette collab is real. I think we found out that "Afterlife" is a real song, but the Alanis song is called something else.

Yea I hope so... Oh yea, I have a track "Tears of Sorrow" and it has the verses from "Baby Dont Cry".. Is that a remix or is that the Baby Dont Cry OG? It has some lady singin in it... I really dont think its the OG, but i figured i'd ask.

It's a remix made by some dude. The actual track is from Sade's cd i think. Or i may be thinkin of another remix called King of Sorrow. Not sure if it's the same.

I truely and honestly doubt that Alanis did a collab with Pac.

Frankly, she is white; what is she doin in Pac's area in Cali ( i doubt if the song were real it would be pre-deathrow), what is she doin near deathrow?
Where would pac find time, between trying to finish unfinished tracks and making new ones at an extreamly fast rate, find the time to hook up such a collab, or was Alanis just in the neibourhood at the right time?

Also, unless Pac didn't ACTUALLY record the track with her, how would Pac have the patience to wait for her to make up a verse????

In that respect, if there is a Pac/Alanis Collab, she probibly is just doing the hooks or backing Pac as he raps, and, if it ever leaks, will probibly dissappoint peoples high expectations for this song.

imo, its an amaru remix for either RUST or more likely Greatest Hits.

The same could be said about "Rather Be Ya Lover" but the fact of the matter is he did a song with Madonna. I don't think it's unlikely that he worked with Alanis. I agree that we'll probably be disappointed if the track does leak. But bringing up the fact that she's white and all that shit is ridiculous, just cuz they worked together doesn't mean she was chillin on the block with him.
I agree. Just cause shes white doesnt mean he didnt work with her... I remember in a interview.. i think it was the "His Own Words" album he said he was opening a restaurant(or some type of biz, cant remember exactly) with Alannis, which means obviously they had some kind of contact with each other.... So its possible.

^^^
he actually DIDNT work with madonna, er, i remember reading (on the OG hitemup.com) that Pac just added his vocals to a song madonna had alredy previously recorded and given to Pac with the intention for him to use it.

We all know that Pac and Madonna were pretty tight and Pac said he cudda had her (so they prolly fucked;) ), but I doubt Alanis and Pac had the same bond as he did with Madonna.

So no, the same cannot be said with Rather Be Your Lover.

(EDIT: Look at post below this one)

Pac did do work wit alanis he waz producin her or somethin... not producin lyke makin beatz though... they had some business planz 2gether az well... cant say if any songz were recorded... wouldnt be surprised... BUT he stopped fuckin wit her because she had invited him 2 a party (her bday if i remember right) one tyme n made a comment that waz somethin around... dont bring ya thug azz homeboyz around or dont bring any1 who dont know how 2 act right or somethin along thoze linez... pac waz real insulted by that... n all of a sudden alanis name stopped comin up... they werent beefin but i guess (in my opinion) pac realized their worldz were completely different n she wouldnt be able 2 adapt in hiz and he realized that she didnt think that he could adapt in herz...

I can confirm that 2 songs exist(well one of them isnt really a song, its just talking and made after he died.), the other one is not called afterlife. I've spoken to people who work for alanis and they confirmed this. but i am a "n00b" so im expecting to be bashed with comments calling me a bullshitter. I've read before that the real title is murderous angels, but im not sure about that.

thats where u go wrong. a nigga has all colours, it's in a nigga's heart where love for the black stands.
see it like its in the heart where a man keeps major love for his family tree, and its not like you have to hate or despite things that arent part of your family tree, a man always show love.
cuz in the end we all have 1 main family to carry on, that be our own. all the rest of the world it's an extended family and its a conditional love relationship.
and then its about hearts. you only know a brother when u get to know his heart, if we look at skins we'd be all stereotyping whats different and whats not till the end.

We all know 'Pac was tight with Madonna from at least 1995 - she was sposed to visit him in jail at one point. And in case you don't know, Alanis is signed to Madonna's label 'Maverick Records'.

So it's plausible that Madonna could have made the connection.
