Ambiguity or Innuendo ?

Not true! Modern artists from the late 19th century to the day have made Ambiguity a staple feature in their art. There is a select group of artists who specialize in the absurdity. This as you can well conclude if you run in the art world, has lead to absurd levels of pretentiousness as the message of the artist is, by the very name of the work, unconventional and unclear, and most paintings rely on the viewer to achieve the effect, and thereby determine the artists full standing. As if the viewer is anything but an audience to a host. And of course every artist will be critiqued, but the point is Ambiguous Art remains so lest the viewer sees anything worthwhile in it.
Innuendo is not an art-form. It is not Art itself, but Art becomes a butt of the joke -- "The Art of Innuendo." It is confined more to a linguistic category, then a visual, aesthetically pleasing one. It doesn't show up on canvas, but rather in film, in comedic dialogue that makes light of risque subjects, to give just one example.
I don't particularly prefer either one of them.
