j/k thanks for letting us know. Snoop has always held it down for Pac, and crazy that he still does it now 8 years after Pac passed, in a small college town.
to add to this, I read the Alligator (local college newspaper) today and there's a few more interesting facts to add to this.
Apparently, before Snoop was scheduled to come on stage, he had to give a live statement that was broadcasted and shown to the audience concerning the controversy recently about the alleged rape charge from the incident on the Jimmy Kimmel show with a makeup artist. The ironic parallels with this incident to Pac's rape case is pretty significant - Snoop basically said this girl is crazy, he even went home to take off his own makeup after the shows. Judging from what I've seen and heard, sounds like another 'bitch' trying to get what others got by throwing on a rape charge. I could be wrong, but this is my gut feeling. This broadcast and unexpected interview was done backstage and was shown to the audience waiting for Snoop to finish, who finally ended up coming on about 2 hours late.
ALSO, during the performance here (not sure if it was before/after Pac shouts) he brought up on stage seven girls from the audience to dance for the songs "Beautiful" and "Drop It Like It's Hot." He then gave them, in his words, "seven backstage passes for seven backstage asses.." LOL
But afterwards, the girls came out and said there wasn't even alcohol backstage except one or two empty beer bottles, and they were treated with the utmost respect. They got pictures with Snoop, had conversations with him, got his autograph, and all 7 girls left together after a couple of hours. They said they were surprised at how funny and polite Snoop and his croud were, and how much respect they showed.
Snoop is one close friend of Pac who has ALWAYS kept it real concerning Pac's image ever since that day in 1996. Much respect to this man. Wish I had the money to go to the concert but still glad he put it down...
