Sofi, thanks very much. Today I accidentally stumbled across the Commercial Drive. It's like Vancouver's Little Italy.
The Chinatown isn't special though, there's a corner where they sell all kinds of illegal stuff though. And I came across Earls, a few ones actually. I haven't been inside yet though. I feel like a dick entering anything other than fast food joints by myself. Fortunately I have some company already (not drinking) and tomorrow I'll have some more. Asian chicks are exceptionally hard to approach here, they don't leave their family/Asian-friends packs.
I also started understanding immigrant-English.. a bit. I think I'm giving these 7-eleven clerks a hard time.

You going to Montreal? Aka, clubbing capital of North America (Fuck you New York, Chicago and Philly, Montreal is still better).
Unfortunately no. I also won't go to Toronto :( I have a direct flight from Vancouver, starting a new semester at university early October.
I'm enjoying Vancouver though. It's not all that exciting but it's a very nice place, and I understand Flipmo mentioning that he'd move here in a heart-beat. Looks like a great place to live indeed, and that would sum it up.

If there are 2 places I'd live in Canada, it's here in Montreal, and Vancouver. The rest, meh... Ottawa is very clean, but it's kinda boring in terms of nightlife and such. It's a city you want to be in if you're gonna work for the Government or any of its close affiliations though. That's for sure.

^^What happened?

I love Vancouver, Montreal and Quebec City (which is the most beautiful city in North America, and I've seen my fair share, it can get boring after 15 years though hehe).

So since all of us would like to live in Vancouver, some day we should all move there and do a Streethop reunion as 70 year olds. Feeding ducks in Stanley Park together while bumping 2pac and looking old.

Fuck North America. I won't be moving there. If I won the lottery (as I can't get health insurance) I'd consider California. But no where else.

Don't come to London either. We are 99% immigrant.

I wouldn't mind moving to Spain.

Well, it was STUPID HUMID when we landed for a start which pissed us off, plus the traffic was awful so we were stuck in the humid ass cab for ages. Then, after soundchecking and going back to the hotel, we realized the promoter of the show had seriously fucked us over. So we pulled the plug on the gig (only like the 3rd time in our career we've had to do that) and went to look for something to eat. But all the restaurants around sucked. And we'd changed our schedule last minute to accommodate this show, for nothing. If we hadn't have bothered with it, we could have had either an extra day in BC, or get to Toronto for the next leg a day earlier, both of which would have been preferable to wasting a day in lame ass motherfucking Ottawa.

But you know where rocks? London, Ontario. That place kicks serious fucking ass. And like, nobody I guess outside of Canada probably knows about it, but it rules. I'd take that place over Ottawa any day.

You can get free healthcare here in Quebec... You just have to "live here".

I spent much more money than I planned in British Columbia alone and I had only 3 weeks, including a 2-week course there. My schedule was so tight that I didn't even make it to see the rockies, and I really wanted to. I will do a huge east to west trip through Canada in the future - that's for sure. So I will visit Montreal.

I've met a girl there though. She'll be staying in Montreal for the next 4 months.

Montreal is awesome, we road tripped it for the grand prix a few years back... I just remember getting stupid drunk at some bar called Thursdays (which was ok) but then we went to some formula one guys bar (cant remember who though) the amount of formula one hotness that was there was awesome and awe inspiring, I just left my friends, found a quiet corner and wrote myself a poem

Got a flat tire on the way in London at 2am though which sucked ass
