Dont u think its weird that whenever u read about a Pac tune (solo's) in his CD booklets it says "written by 2pac" and 2/3 other people? .... Does that mean Pac isnt great either?
maybe because there are other rappers featuring on the track...

PLUS,the artist who is sampled,is credited and the producer too

You people need to learn what an executive producer does. He comes up with the concept behind the tracks mainly.
Dre does build the beats himself, but he doesn't perform every aspect. He may tell someone his vision and then they come up with the synth sound, or program the drums or add guitars etc. He teaches them and they become better producers for it. It's the way of the world. At work do you not have managers? Most McDonalds do. Why you put ice in drinks, isn't there a line of people making burgers? So before you slag off Dre, respect what he's given rap and hip-hop and recognise the legend.

And to Haunted, here's an answer, finally. It was produced by Dre and intended for the Helter Skelter album. But Suge called rank and gave it to 2pac, along with Cali Love.
well put

Stay on subject. You've had your say. Either discuss Can't C me, or don't post. Any more arguments on Dre will result in thread being closed.

Great post Pittsey. I actually got a chance to see Dre, in action in the Studio back in '94? Dre was clearly running shit, down to telling the keyboard player exactly what notes he wanted and when. Dre may delegate more stuff now, but don't get it twisted, he's a legend for a reason. The whole DR crew including Warren G (who told my Pops he was sick off all the Groupies that were always trying to get at him, lol) was there, although Dre and one of the recording studio engineers were the only ones still working. To be honest i don't have a clue if they ever used the beat they were working on, but it sounded tight as fuck at the time.
