one of the Salamanca players had a heart attack in their game against Real Betis at the weekend. Miguel Garcia. he survived but they said that his heart was stopped for 4 minutes.

Damn, just the other day VI ran an article chronicling these things of the last few years, and barely a week later we have another case.

Like 2 months ago Ajax player Evander Sno (ex Celtic) collapsed during a match with the reserve teams. He was succesfully reanimated.

yea there has been a rise in these sudden adult death case in recent years. not just in professional footballers but i there have been a lot of case of this happening to amateur sports players here in Ireland alone in recent years.

One of my friends keeps getting extreme chest pains when playing football, he was near collapsing this past week. Even though he is one of the healthiest guys i know it seems he may have to stop playing.
