Congratulations Every1 We Are Making Great Progress 2pac Star Update& New Anouncment

We recieved word from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce that everyhting is in process and we have began to submit the official nomination application. They were aware of our petition and while they don't acccept official petition they saw the massive feedback and were encouraged.
I spoke with Mil and he wanted to thank everybody for their support.
We also were on 93.5 kday radio morning show in LA with Yoyo who shouted out our project and gave the people info.

Afeni Shakur is also aware that we have recieved the approval to begin the initial process. She was touched in a major way.
Now we have decided to make various types of fundraisers online and on the streets of LA to raise the $15,000 required for the star.
While the money is nothing we want to give this as a gift from the fans in honor of 2pac. If fans can just donate $5 or more if they can afford to that would be ideal and we will reach our goal of $15,000 in no time.
We are in the process of launching an official website where people can donate and also see statements from Afeni, The Outlawz and other celebrity people to see they are behind this.
We are also setting up a charitable D.B.A. fundraising account through the city of Glendale for the money to be sumbited.
I will put up the Official P.O. Box adress so fans in the US can start sending the $5 donations. Also when we launch the official site we will set up the credit card database.

I have registered it and we are working on the content. We are hoping to have it up this weekend.
Also if your in LA next week we will anounce an official rally fundraiser through 93.5 fm KDAY.

Muszamil has also anounced that he will send a free Sampler CD with exclusive tracks to the first 100 people who donate.
We also have various celebrities and other interesting fun stuff lined up.

I want to make it clear that we want the fans to be involved and we could easilly contact big buisnesses and put up $15,000 but this is a project and a gift from 2pac fans worldwide to his mother and to honor him on the 10th year of his aniversary.

This is the Official email from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce just to show fans.
Also I am sorry for the disorganazied posts I just been so excited since we were contacted back by them and updated. We are still meeting friday with Mr. Johnny Grant the major of Hollywood and I will show him the petition so he can also see the number of Pac fans and how we came together and I am hoping that will help to speed up the process.
Pitsey if u can organazie all the info I dropped and drop a news post it would be highlly officiated.

and the money needs to be sent when the person is selected.
The committtee meets in June and they are voting for 2007. The
application is good for two years. We cannot accept testimonials. Not

Also still keep spreading the word on the petition. We still want to show not only the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce but everyone how powerful the voice of Pac fans can be. So keep telling your people to sign. If cats can't donate it's all good sign the petition and drop those wonderful comments you been dropping. We will still have a petiton link on top of the site and through the official site.
We still want to present and show how many people support this idea and show that people want to see 2pac get his much deserved star.

That's an interesting point you brought up homeboy actually that $15,000 fee goes towards charity read the description below from the Hollywood Chamber of Commercce.


It is understood that the cost of installing a star in the Walk of Fame upon approval is $15,000* and the sponsor of the nominee
accepts the responsibility for arranging for payment to the Hollywood Historic Trust, a 501(c)3 charitable foundation.
It is further understood that, should the above-named nominee be chosen for placement in the Walk of Fame, said nominee
guarantees to be present at the dedication ceremonies on a date and time mutually agreed upon with the Walk of Fame Committee. An
induction ceremony must be scheduled within five years of the selection date of June 2006, or the nomination must be re-submitted.
Induction ceremonies are public events. Honorees recognize that, as such, footage and photos of the event are in the public realm.
First-time nominations not selected will automatically roll over for another year. If not selected during their second attempt, the
nominee must be re-submitted.

Wow... this is incredible news. Young G, you proved me completely wrong about your project (even though I had no idea what your plans were). Keep up the good work, I encourage everyone to contribute in any way they can.

I edited the title and wanted to post again for the millionth time lol and to clear it up and let people know that we still have not recieved the final approval that will be done in June if all goes well.
We are encouraged that everyhting is going as planned and we have done everyhting that has been asked from us and are in great contact with the Hollywood people. The fact that they were aware of the petition shows the power of Pac fans and how word spread in LA and that sped up the process for us and we have began the official stages.
Since final approval might come in June ya the month of Pac's birthday that would be so fitting it is critical to start the process of fundraiasing now as you saw in their email.


Also I will need the help of some of the 2pac historians on this site when we do the official Qualifications list for 2pac like I had asked for earlier as far as sales, movie, and music info, booksm documentaries, we will even list all the websites.
Plus list info about the Tupac Shakur Art center because they value charitable contributions a lot.
