I used to. Nowadays I try to live with what I make and pay my credit card down at the same down. I have a loan for university though and without it I wouldn't be able to afford it in all honesty.

In a way. Everyone needs credit sooner or later.

"I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men." -Woodrow Wilson

No.

But, it depends on the lifestyle you have.

I know people who've been here for ten years and haven't bought a single thing on credit.

Still renting an apartment, still using their debit card.

Not a smart thing to do in a capitalist society, but hey, depends on how you want to live.
