7 years on and I only see you on birthdays
Seems you love the streets more than me, you'll never change your ways

Every time I hear your voice can help but feel relief,
I'm left sitting here wondering where you are
When you're out there chasing beef

You'll never changed based on what you've shown
It's been hard for the family living on our own

No one can ever feel my pain, no matter how much I pray
Pain and adversity follows me every where since the day you walked away

Very personal poem and I liked how you stressed your emotions, I mean you're talking about your father walking out on your family yet you don't even sound mad, there's almost an air of serenity and calmness throughout... and I really like that about this piece. Hope you continue to write.
