Death wish
for my soul - it's like everyday I lose a year
2 Death and I hate it not because of fear

so I can chose between givin up and 2 die
Death before dishonor - so don't ask why

damn homie u can be so damn dark at times. either way those lines stuck out the most. its fucked i know but either way it does make for some good poetry. Keep it up my nigg and everything gonna be alright

live2tell, I probablly had death in my mind when I wrote this. Obviosuly I can't know if death is an end to my struggle but it's like the best chance, like the only chance I see - u know how it is

that I'm not supposed 2 feel - gotta run
gotta hustle, gotta fight - everyday every hour - my God
I suffer so much and actually think about suicide a lot
these days cause I'm simply about 2 break
2 finish my tasks this might be what it might take
so I can chose between givin up and 2 die

I actually prepare my funeral - this is how it's gonna be
and it's ok cause 2 die is also a way 2 flee
and leave behind the pain that defines my life
believe me, if I die 2night it's alright
Actually I wish for my death these days
so there is an end 2 this chase

nice emotion in this. that was what really made it nice to me, good account of your memories and you put them down in a nice short, fast-paced way which made each line hit with more of an impact. and i hear you about the stresses of life, it's sad how life and the way society forms things over time put so much stress on eachother and nobody even knows it. it's like stress that shouldn't matter, it's just created by society's norms and values.

sup homie, been a long time since SicC has treaded these lonely halls, but i can tell that through it all nothing changes much, this is a great poem and one i can understand more than most would believe (excluding you of course knowing my past and history in this section). Hows the book coming? I hope this makes it in the first few pages of this book.

hey sicc, what a surprise - thx for stoppin by and thx for the replies, always good to hear if people feel your stuff. Yeah the book, that's a lot of work unfortuntely I have to take care about 'real life' stuff as well so it takes so long - but no doubt I'm workin on it, always. Actually nope, this poem won't be included in the book due to the fact it was written in 2006, the book will only include poems until end of 2005, I had 2 make a cut somewhere.
