my comments:
negatives:
* first of all, as someone else said, girls are playing in the garden and laughing as the This Life I Lead verse is being played ("til i fill it up with my pump" etc). it just doesnt feel right.
* the bronze statue of pac features in this video, and we all know how horrible it looks (it does not resemble pac at all imo). most of the shots are from behind it (smart move), but there is a quick glimpse of the face near the end. how i wish the people who made it took their time...
*at the end there is a quote we have heard before:
"I'm not saying I'm gonna change the world, but i guarantee that I will spark the brain that will change the world". i dont know how hard it could be to put some vocals at the end so people could hear how tupac spoke it, because when you read it, it seems kind of weird.
the least they could have done is put "will" in bold, so people would know where the accentuation lies.
when i read it (and i know how pac spoke it) i automatically did so in a kind of monotonous tone in my mind. i mentally spoke "change the world" the same way both times.
i always need to be critical of the smallest things... but at least the quote is a whole lot better than afeni's one for ghetto gospel.
