Dreams

i actually had a sort of wild dream.

in my dream, somehow i was made aware that terrorists had captured two planes and were planning to use them in an immediate incoming attack. i was right here in harstad. i don't remember all the little details, but eventually the two planes crashed into each other over where i was standing. the fucked up part was they hit each other at a 45 degree angle. one exploded immediately, the other got swung around and started spinning at a very high velocity until eventually blowing to bits as well. two comparisons come to mind. one is when you watched the planes crash into WTC. just looking at a huge plane crashing into a huge building, knowing there were no special effects or nothing, was powerful to me. of course some fuck like DP is gonna come in here and say they weren't phased at all, and now that i said that he'll try and flip it the other way like he actually was phased and who the fuck am i to think i know him. shut up essay :D comparison two is from lost, when the others watched the plane crash from their home. what i saw in my dream was like a blend of the two. the funniest part is i was still half asleep for a little while when i woke up and i must have been shook because i was thinking about posting it on here, but then i figured the american government would have me arrested for talking about planes and terrorist attacks. like, i actually thought that could happen at that point.

I usually have the strangest and scarriest dreams right before I get sick.

I can remember this one dream where my grandfather is sitting in a rocking chair and i'm sitiing on the floor looking at him through my POV. He slowly starts throwing playing cards at me, rocking back and forth, then he starts rocking faster and begins tossing the cards faster too. Then the cards catch on fire and he starts rocking fast as shit. I woke up in a sweat, and I then got a cold, freaked me the fuck out.

here's something i was thinking about llast night, and i'm kinda curious as whether this happens to anyone else or just me. when i smoke weed and go to bed high, i never remember any dreams. but if i haven't smoked any i remember some dreams, but still not many. the strange thing is, when i first started smoking i always dreamed when i went to bed high. now, nothing. strange huh? does this happen to any others who smoke weed?

yeah, it's a pretty common thing, losing your dreams. my experience is that they do eventually return though. whenever i go on a break for a while, after a couple of weeks i go into a state of dreaming a lot, very lucid, and i remember them very well. then after a week it evens out and i'm "back to normal", having the odd dream here and there.

i normally have very vivid dreams when i run out just as i go to sleep. i'll take a hit, chill for a while, but realizing i'm out i'm a bit more restless when i fall asleep, so i guess my body is more active from the get-go or something.

I dislike dreams I have where I am trying to run, and can't move anywhere. That frustrates me like a motherfucker. Like trying to shout and there's no sound. Contrary to that is having dreams of flying. That is the ultimate dream experience.
yea i used 2 have that dream when i was younger. trying to run but my legs dont allow it. so frustrating at a time we're meant to be relaxing and recuperating.

A week ago, I dreamed that I was shot twice, and the shot in the head killed me and I could feel the shot hit me and then it was just all black, not even time for pain. Then, I became like a ghost but people couldn't see me. I woke up then, and for straight 5 minutes, I kept thinking if I was dead/ghost or alive.

wow, that must have been a very unusual feeling...

dont think if had a dream where ive been shot and felt it. i get feelings of wanting to escape situations safely but i dont know if i can always feel the harm.

i do know that i get feelings as if i was actually there - must be the adrenaline.

i had that dream again with the stormy weather - although this time it was just cyclones in the city causing destruction and mayhem. people were caught in them and were flying around. nearby to us, and we tried to escape and make it to safety.

well...one of the weirdest dreams i've had a bunch of times is when theres ppl that i've never seen before in my life..ever.. and they just come into my dreams and im interacting with them. its weird because its like my mind created these faces in my dreams...of ppl i've never seen before...yet i can see their faces clearly and it makes me wonder if they really exist in real life...i bet they do but it would be kinda wierd seeing them in real life...
Interesting that this post should be the first reply. We see different people all the time and, our mind sort of creates a data-base of all these faces. All the time you walk through a city, shopping mall, watch a sports event, or music concert, all the people you see are stored in your memory. Even though you don't look at them, somehow your mind makes a record of each and every face you see. These faces will appear to you in your dreams for some reason.

i believe that if we can think up something in our dreamss..it can happen..its possible...like loook at the movie the matrix for example..or look at aliens or different universes or any of that.....if we can think it up and there is a higher power(and i do believe there is)...then these things should be able to happen..we just havn't found the technology or the solution to doing these things...
On another point you made, "The Matrix" is the perfect example. Its all about our mind being based on rules and, even when we have a chance to break those rules, our minds would let us. We are too used to reality and the way things happen. When someone flies in their dreams, they do have moments where they lose altitude or eventually they do come to the ground. For the obvious reason, your mind tells you that the flying can't be real. However, by the time you realize you can control this, you are most likely half awake and the dream disappears.
