Congrats Sandeep.
I honestly had no idea that taking a drivers test was THIS big of a deal. Maybe it is for foreigners? I dunno, everyone's talking about it like it was this huge thing, where you gotta study for hours and take a bunch of lessons and its nerve wrecking and shit. When I took mine, it was like 6 minutes actually being in the car. Got in, drove and did whatever the police officer told me to do and it was done, like a ten minute process----the entire thing.
The written test is a joke, takes like 20 mins, as long as you get like 16 outta 20 right (or whatever the amount of questions were), you were good to go. They print you a permit there and you can drive as long as someone above the age of 18 is there in the car with you. Unless you were 18+ then it didn't matter--you could drive alone. And that permit was valid for 2 years.
I was like really?? at the comments cuz it seems like everyone's making it to be a bigger deal than it is. Maybe cuz I'm in the states and its so common and everyone drives as soon as you hit 16 (waits for everyone to drop accident-related statistics) and that's that. I remember it being a big deal when we were sophomores in high school cuz it was cool we were about to et our license, but after that, not really.
Anyone one the same page as me?
Anyway, didn't mean to take away from the thread, congrats bro. Drive safely.
