Ever get the feeling that maybe it was better for Pac that he died?

the beat is something you could easily hear in most clubs and nate rips the hooks. very uptempo song and just amazing. in my opinion what they did to it was like what em did to ghetto gospel.

are you saying they changed the tempo to the pella?

If thats tru thats fuked up.

i dont know, man. the remix they did was HOT. I thought the guitar and everything was cool, also the chorus. I dont see why they'd take nate off tho. Pac's lyrics and TI's lyrics flow AMAZINGLY. Don't see why they didnt release it as a single. This is all considering i dont have the OG to compare it too. Maybe youll release that on OGVGH?

btw, FUCKING GREAT POSTS you made in this thread:thumb:

^If you come up with a price quota maybe we can get our shit together and reach it. I really don't think anyone would be bitter about you making some profit so long as people get to hear the track. Better you than that Kaymont biznotch right?

so i didn't even bother reading this thread originally because i thought it was another one of those pointless threads that turned into two people telling each other to go fuck themselves, but now that it is five pages deep i figured i'd give it a read. And I can definitely say I missed out on a good conversation. Got a decent perspective of what if pac was still alive and got a taste of how a song i thought was pretty damn good was even better.

...and so the 2pacboard surprises me again.

Well fuck them. Go ahead and make some dough to pay off that mortgage, buy that new tv, etc. :thumb: It probably won't happen but shoot your price and let's see!

Yeah I always got the feeling when listening to Changed Man that the OG to it must be shit-hot. Ive thought alot about 2pacs next and supposed 'final album' (far too much thinking about it actually!), and the person I beleive who would handle the project best and deliver an album worthy of being attributed to Pac would be Mr. Kanye West. Seriously, I believe he would respect Pacs original intentions for the vibe of a song and also when it comes to sampling and remaking, well we all know Kanye is the best at that (Dont Stop The Music 06'??). Anyway it wont happen, instead were gonna get a pile of shit with Ne-Yo on it. Anyway its only my opinion, 5 star thread this btw!

Personally i don't like Kanye West productions. I dont like him also and don't think it would be a good idea to put him on Pac's album. It just wudnt wit. I would like to hear some dpg and Jonny J production. Oh and the OG's of course

OK, what we need is somebody willing to stay true to the original vibe, backed by the money to clear samples and the talent to 'polish' up the original beats so that they dont sound dated. Hmmmmmm...

Well the thing is, they're not trying to make his releases appeal to the fans, they're trying to make it appeal to a mainstream audience... obviously.

i know but they're doin it bad way. They should take 1 route and keep it. They should decide if it has to be for true fans or mainstream album. Because what were they doin was the worst combination of those 2 options. Like LTTG.They made album for mainstream audience fuckin up most of the songs and on the other hand only for the fans because of bad promotion so even if the album was full of G-unit/Shady shit it wasnt advertised enough. 1 poor video. 2 singles. Nearly no ads. Album only distributed to few countries (in my country noone even heard bout it as it isnt even on the shelves in shops, only sign of new Pac shit was Ghetto Gospel video). No "album of the year" vibe etc.

personally i always thought that pac was a smart man that made some mistakes but when i first saw the footage from the MGM grand you gotta say to yourself what the fuck was he thinking, was he drunk? was he pumped up from seeing tyson kick some ass? was he just pissed off? we'll never know but he was for sure going back to jail. the judge from another case had just let him off the hook with an agreement that he would do a charity type concert. but going after orlando anderson in a las vegas casino with a million cameras is a fuckin stupid thing to do it just shows how big his ego was and how much he was still wrapped up in the gangsta image (the way he walked over to him). we all wish he was still here but we should all study his life and learn from the mistakes he made because he was far from perfect.
