Feedback Works Both Ways

After seeing the thread in Our Block, I decided to drop by the poetry section for once and contribute a little bit. I noticed a bigger problem than the lack of traffic. No one gives real feedback. 98% (1.5 of the other 2 coming from my last three posts) are insignificant. How is anyone supposed to improve their skills if every single critique is "good job" or "keep it up"? Don't be afraid to say something negative about someone's poetry. You don't have to be an asshole about it, but if the poet doesn't know where to improve, then they won't be able to do it.

You're not going to hurt anyone's feelings.

Agreed, it doesn't always have 2 be a positive feedback. But no beef guys. No insults. You won't survive that in here, this is my place.

EDIT: ;) @Americaz: I'd apprechiate more replies from you man, show us some love. ;)

^ I assume that you meant "Amerikaz"

I'll try. I should be able to contribute more over the summer after college gets out. Reading the poems, thinking about them, and making sure I give the right advice takes a good minute.
