Happy Birthday!!

i am now 20 years old. my brother said on my 18th "now that your 18, watch the years fly by", and honestly, they are going much quicker than expected. soon i will be 30 lol.
not so much exciting, more of enjoyment. at first i went out to enjoy the weather etc, went shopping and then came home for a bit, chilled out, then went to pub to play a few games of pool. afterwards we went out to the restaurant (an indian cuisine) and once we came back home we cut the cake.
all i wanted this year was to enjoy a day out on my birthday in the beautiful weather, since for the past 5 years or so ive been getting terrible grey cloudy weather with heavy rain!! but it made so much difference when the gorgeous weather topped it all off.
i had like the best birthday message from my cousins over in nairobi, which really put a smile on my face. i will never forget that.
i was just a bit upset when my best uni friend didnt message me or anything to wish me a hapy birthday - i honestly thought she forgot (and i was surprised by the fact she didnt message me because my birthday is only 9 days after hers and i share the same birthday as he grandfather). turns out she was working the full day on that day and therefore wished it me the morning after (15th june).
i know i should just keep my head up about things and not let myself get down. i find i get emotionally affected by minor little things like these, and they cause a mood swing. thankfully, i managed to revive my happy mood, thanks to some help by my brother and his immature behaviour lol, and my mother cracking jokes ha!
