holy shit!! im about to give birth soon!

good news ^ i have a question for you, before you gave birth, besides contractions, did your body act up at all? today ive been feeling sick to my stomach i feel like i got to throw up, and i get hot real easy. and just to let you know, i didnt get sick during this whole pregnancy (morning sickness) but today ive been gagging the whole time. Also had a few sharp pains, not contractions but sharp pains.
Could this be a sign im about to go into labor soon?

It is very possible. Prolly your body is reacting to the change it's about to go through. I never got sick with either of my boys but with my lil girl, I stayed sick. Almost everytime I ate I got sick. I can't remember though if I got sick before I had em. God that's been a long time ago lol If you're already dialated and effaced, the pains are prolly what's called Braxton Hicks, kinda pre-contractions. You can stay dialated and effaced for a while though. I know this is prolly gonna sound nasty but have you lost your mucous plug yet? You woulda noticed if you have. It woulda been like a blob when you went to the bathroom. When you lose that, your water breaking or labor isn't far behind. Try walking alot if you're ready to get it over with. The more active you are, the sooner it will happen. With my last two, I worked til the day I had em and I didn't have any problems whatsoever giving birth. It was actually ALOT easier than I thought it'd be, even with the first one. The closer it gets, the more you'll be ready to just get it over with. You'll be real figgedy, like you just can't stand it anymore. When you get to that point, just do alot of walking or house cleaning or something like that. It'll make the process go faster.

^ yeah i know about braxton hicks, and as far as the mucous plug goes, i know about that too, and ive had tiny tiny pieces of it, in my urine, like its breaking apart, but not all of it yet. and the doc. told me that you can lose your mucous plug up to two weeks before giving birth, and it can regenerate.
But yeah ive been having bh contractions for the past week now. And the past week is when i did all of my dialating and effacing.

But yup ive been doing a lot of house work lately as well. But im trying to hold off until my boyfriend can get down here, maybe another two weeks.

so today i went to the hospital, because i was having some pain, turns out my body has started to contract, and not the braxton hicks or false labors, but it has started to contract. The nurse said that, my body can be contracting for a while. So i can give birth anywhere from tomorrow to three weeks from now. so Basically we just have to see what happens. Should be anytime now though.

I hope she's born on the 27th like me! lol. Actually that must be such a strange kind of anticipation. Like excitement and fear. I really have no clue what it must be like to carry a child inside of you for so long and then before long it will be its own little person, hehe. Sounds like fun!

^ yup but it can be anytime now, or it can be three weeks from now, depending on when my body decides to give her eviction notice lol.

I could go through all this, just to not dialate anymore, and have my plug grow back :fury: ill so mad if thats the case

Are you at the point where you're just ready to get it over with yet? lol I bet you're getting close to that. Sounds like it won't be long now. I get so excited when people I know (even if it's just e-know lol) have babies. It makes me wanna just go out and buy lots of stuff for em. I love babies, specially the ones you can give back when they start crying, but I'm glad I don't have any anymore lol
