This is in reference to work. Who here feels like at times, their boss/foreman/supervisor etc just doesn't have the competence to be in charge?

I can't say that since I AM THE BOSS! lol

But I know alot of my employees feel like I shouldn't be in charge, but obviously I was hired for a reason ... And I have brought alot to the company and have made alot of positive changes. I just keep going on day by day and don't let them get me down ... some of them have started to finally respect me after a year of being here.

Usually the biggest idiots are bosses. They just have to know how to run things.
People with most skills are casual workers - they need to get the job done.

Usually boss' have to work their way up the ladder so technically they were "casual" workers at one time so in turn that would mean they have skills ... just thought i'd throw that out there lol

yeah that's how it should be. Obviously it doesn't happen that way in many many cases.
At least here where I live bosses usually have no idea about what people under their charge do.
Be it IT, Business, Politics etc.
They just want to have work done.

this threads reminds me of my supervisor. he is always walking, acting like hot shit, talking to everybody, and then he says his work is hard and that if he is always late with everything it's not his fault. and it's not that he doesn't the stuff, he knows it and we know that he knows it, it's just he is a lazy disorganized supervisor delaying everything.

sometimes i feel like telling him "if you weren't talking and walking and wasting your time all the time maybe you would have some job done and you'd be able to be on schedule"
