How do I deal with these people?

What can I do about annoying co-workers?

There is one co-worker that I don't really understand. I mean, I hardly understand what she says most of the time, but I have an even harder time understanding her when she's mad at me. The funny thing about her is that she can be annoying one day, and be very nice the next.

Then, there's the pharmacist. She's such a pain. Unlike other co-workers, I can't talk back or disrepect her because she can always complain about me. She seriously has an attitude problem and that's the only reason I have a problem with her. I thought of reporting her to the Board of Pharmacy for dispensing drugs illegally, but I won't bother. She gave out controlled substances at least on three occasions, and leaves the safe with C-II drugs ("dangerous" drugs) open all the time and unattended. That would probably get her a suspension and a bad name, but I don't have the time to report her and all that.

There is one that's all about customer service, and she got something she deserved today: this dude complained about her and will complain to the regional manager. That teaches her something: everyone has his or her way of treating customers. I have my way, and there's no perfect way. She bothers me about how rude I try to be to some customers. She says I should be nice to all customers, even the lunatics.

Uh, besides these two, there's the clumsy co-worker. She is unbelievable, and its too hard to describe her. We were doing something, and to quiz her, I asked her what 30 - (minus) 4 is. She stood next to me for almost a minute, and answered "27?" Another time, she asks me how to get out of a screen on the computer. I tell her to press escape, and she looks a while at the keyboard looking for it. Damn, keyboards have been the same for how long? The escape key has always been in the same place.

There's a lot more to talk about, but that's it for now. You guys, please help me with my work problems. I can't take these people anymore.

it sucks when this happens that your co workers are either stupid or rude i'd say the first one who has a multiple personality like a gemini is the only one i would still tolerate or talk to.

the other ones ignore as much as possible be respectful with hi and bye shit and the q and a shit but otherwise sdon't look for convos or bother...

that shit ain't worth any of your time it only adds stress to your job.

Not much you can do really. It sounds cliche, just learning to deal with it, but everywhere you go in life people are going to annoy you, whether it's this job or another. Best thing to do is do your job the best you can - their stupidity etc, is their problem to deal with. If they are doing things which directly affect their job (such as leaving the drugs unattended etc) then you should report them, otherwise nothing is going to change is it? If you don't feel the need to take action, then why even let it bother you?

Since she keeps the safe unlocked most of the time, why not let me in there and have my fun, and then you can report her for missing Schedule II drugs and have your revange on her...

Its almost impossible to ignore them because working at a pharmacy requires a lot of interaction.

I was actually thinking of working elsewhere in hopes of meeting people that wouldn't bother me, but if there are annoying people everywhere, there's no point in changing jobs.

If I report the pharmacist, I'll be pulled into a long investigation that may require me to attend court. I don't think I can go through all that, and my parents certainly would not approve. I am not sure I can report her annonymously, but if I could, it would be sad if she was fired because she is a nice person at other times. Its just that she has a communication problems. It seems she can't express disappointment and criticism in a way that does not offend others.

I try my best not to let it get to me, and I try to ignore it. I am afraid reporting her will create too much drama for myself and others.

Dude, we have so much Percocet, Ritalin, Concerta, and other C-II's, you wouldn't be able to handle it. Our pharmacy carries more Schedule-II drugs than many other pharmacies.

I am not sure if you've had Adderall, but have you noticed the smell? I couldn't tolerate it. I am think you're more of an Oxycodone/APAP (Percocet = Oxycodone/APAP) person. I am not sure if we carry OxyContin. I've never seen it dispensed at our pharmacy.

I was standing infront of the (open) C-II safe, and told a co-worker that's exactly what it would be for someone like you, a "candy store." I assume you're not much of an Ambien person, right?

That would be an easy solution to the problem, but really why should you have to leave your job over something so petty as a failure to get along with co-workers. I seriously think that even if you did leave, you're gonna find a downside to any workplace.

Got someone in a senior position you could discuss it with, an employer? Direct your concerns to them, that way they can make the decision whether or not to pursue a legal complaint, or if warranted, discontinue their employment. At least it takes the responsibility out of your hands.
