at first i was pissed. i'm not sure whats wrong with it, just that it wont get any bars, anywhere. my brother is on the same plan and has the same phone, so i know its nothing wrong with the plan or service, just my personal phone. i'm re-negotiating my contract saturday.

but here is the surprising part, i'm not sure if i miss my phone or not. of course i miss texting ppl when i'm bored and tryin to waste time at work, and browsing the mobile web, and all that, but when i think about it, life is so much less stressful without the phone in it.

i havent talked to my girlfriend in two days, my mom cant call or text me, and i dont even carry my phone in my pocket anymore since i know its a waste. i use it as a calculator and calendar and making notes and reminders.. and thats about it. its kinda like a burden has been lifted. anyone ever felt similar?

of course i'm getting that one saturday tho.

I didnt have a phone for about two months, it was great I must admit. It was funny having people call friends phones asking for me. I didn't have to call anyone to set up plans or any of that, or to ask so and so this. It is nice, but texting those late night booty calls is nicer.

Yeah I know what you're saying. I used to live by my phone specially when I was with my ex gf. I would be on it all the time, specially at work and it wasnt good :(

The only time I got peace was when I was on a flight to the UK or something and I couldnt use my phone.. i got the best nights' sleep and didnt stress about texts/phone calls for 8 hrs... it was bliss!

it's natural that mobile phones limit your freedom. Actually most modern communication devices limit our freedom. Think about how would it be like if there were no mobile phones and no internet again. People wouldn't be as stressed, you would be in better, closer relations with other people even though you'd talk with them rarely and you could be out for a few days feeling totally free and disconnected. With a mobile phone you can't get away.
But after all those devices give us much more possibilities.
