Maybe some of you have heard about this in the news. Two English soldiers were killed the other night(they were due to leave Northern Ireland for Afghanistan the following day) and a police officer was killed last night in Norther Ireland. IRA Dissidents claimed responsibility. So basically, they are trying to start a new war. They are a fucking disgrace and an insult to any real republican that fought for the freedom of Ireland in the past. All these guys are is gangsters. After all the work that went into bringing about peace there. Now these fuckers want to start a new war out of the blue. I cant believe it. We thought all that bullshit was over. These criminals dont represent any republican or Catholic in Ireland. They are a fucking disgrace. scum of the earth.

We had a chat with this dude we met when we almost entered a gay bar by mistake lol. He laughed at us because his gf took him to a bi club and he decided to take us on a pub crawl. Anyways, he said that the he could point ten IRA members in the pub... I didn't believe him as I thought that they were done, but he said that they still run a lot of business in Ireland and that they wanted to stay down low... Then he said how a lot of people are still pissed about the whole concept of Northern Ireland and that they still feel that GB is oppressing to them.

People had right to be sympathetic of the IRA in the past when they fought for the freedom of Ireland and the oppression of Catholics in a war.Obviously i support that but some of the acts of terrorism they carried out in the recent past were disgraceful. They even killed their own. Someone like Bobby Sands is a hero for me but not these criminals who are an insult to the great men that fought for Ireland in the past.
What these people claim that they want is the end of British Rule in the north of Ireland. It is part of Ireland so it should be ours. thats fair enough but is it worth starting up that war again so more people will die over it. Things had changed alot up there. People were starting to live in peace and normality. Yea, there was some incidents of sectarian violence but nothing major.

Yeah its grim. I was watching a news special last night about the attack on Saturday night when the news broke about the policeman being shot, later emerging that he had died, just made me feel sick.
Hope thats the end of it, but somehow i doubt it.
