I have a suspicion that the conversation went like this, "someone very high up at Interscope called me one day and said, "Eminem wants to work on this album...he's so mad about Tupac's music that he won't want a damned dime for this, so you will hire him and walk this way if you want this record out..." Then Lapolt to Afeni went like this, "We got Eminem, he is professional, remember Resurrection and he is on the top his game and bla, bla, bla..." Afeni is not a musician, she just wants the best for her deceased son's legacy...she is misguided, i guess.
It is really sad that the questioner didn't have the balls to ask awkward questions about the latest Posthomus album, like voice- and lyric-editing etc.

BTW, whoever said 2pac's poetry was Gay, has obviously never been to High School and even studied literature or Poetry. 2pac's poetry is as deep or depper than his lyrics. He was attending a well-respect Arts school and was top of his class at the time of these writings, so if you knew Pac youd know this.

Maybe she meant songs in Pac's possesion. Ie, Pre-Interscope, songs he did outside of Interscope Records, and outside of DR (Ie Ice-T, GO Twice, etc.)

I assume all of Pac's DeathRow songs were in Suge's possession.

And most Pre-Deathrow songs were Interscope's possession.

I think Pac had 154 Masters at his house, and they had to sue DeathRow for the other 200 or so Masters they obtained in 1998 (After they were bootlegged by Suge Knight)

They didint sue Interscope because Pac is an MTV favorite and MTV owns Interscope (I'm pretty sure Interscope is a VIACOM Company)

Interscope let them use material for RUSD, Greatest Hits and recently Loyal 2 The Game.

Therefore, Dina LaPolt is not up on her game, and she takes to Afeni 5 times a day and still does not know anything about 2pac. What do they talk about?
