thanks for the interview...opened my mind, specially the part about wanting to commit suicide because his label mates weren't willing to help out their own communities. so true.

yeah that part really struck me also, imagin how frustrateing that would be, to be able and willing to use your fame to help others but only to feel you had to do it alone.

1. Teardrops & Closed Caskets
2. Fuck Friends
3. Letter To The President
4. You Don't Have To Worry
5. Soon As I Get Home
6. Niggaz Nature
7. To Live & Die In LA
8. Lost Souls

If it's really the tracklist of the Original Makaveli album then it's way better than the official DR release in my opinion... :thumb:
I'm gonna create this album right now!

These songs were never necessarily supposed to be on the album. QDIII even said Pac told him he was going to save some of the tracks for the album after Makaveli.

Great read :thumb:

That seemed to be the OG tracklist until Pac decided to change his mind.

That is a great list of songs, but naw, its not better then the released version. All those songs are awesome, but I still think they fall short of tracks like "Hail Mary", "Me and My Girlfriend", "White Mans World", "Blasphemy", "Krazy", "Hold Ya Head", or "Bomb First......all of which are AMAZING.

Wasnt "Starin Through My Rear View" also recorded during the Makaveli sessions?? The only thing that would have made Makaveli better would be to remove Toss It Up, and replace it with one of the above songs, probably either Lost Souls or Starin.

I do believe that in the XXL makeing of article it states that the OG Tracklist consited of 20 tracks, so that is 7 that where cut, probably not all QDIII songs however.

(Then again maybe, suge probably rather put out in-house production rather then paying of finding a way to dick over QDIII)

2o tracks were recorded for the Makaveli album but all these tracks weren't supposed to appear on the album.
For one official album,Tupac used to record about 25-30 tracks and maybe more...

just cuz pac recorded those songs doesnt mean they made the final cut or were meant 4 the album... i think the album was decided by pac before his passing and the only changes which may have been made after his passing were certain edits (as i remember reading from dante, including death threats) and maybe the intro... i think all tracks were completed before his passing and exactly the way pac wanted it

agree- i want 2 hear val young on the hook and i also want to find out other tracks recorded 4 makaveli that didnt make the cut, surely some must be unheards... qd3 wasnt the only producer to have tracks cut.. other tracks must have been recorded 4 this which didnt make the final cut

You guys remember that pac said when he wrote me against the world it felt like god was giving him a message while writing his lyrics, because in the future everything he wrote on that album did happen to him, then all eyez on me came out and he also said that it was more of a radio play album, then makaveli was being made and if u think about it that album if just like me against the world, and pac himself said it was like a me against the world part 2, maybe he felt his time was going to end soon so he chose the tracks that are on the album now, maybe he felt something coming cuz if u hear that album his vocals are very different then all eyez on me.
