LA,LA-When was the release date.

Did this song come out before Pac's death because I'm not sure? And if it did, then how come 2Pac didn't go after Capone N Noreaga in addition? I just want to know the release date or the date of the time period that anyone thinks it was released. In fact when was the "War Report" released. I think the album was released in 97, but I'm not sure.

Incase anyone doesn't know, this song was a reply to DPG's New York, New York. It was by Capone N Noreaga and featured Mobb Deep.

It did come out during Tupac's life; at the House of Blues concert, during an interlude he says something like, "Then they wanna make a song called 'L.A., L.A..them niggas don't know, they gang bang in L.A.! They love fightin'!"

I dunno why he didn't attack CNN though.

Later on Kurupt and Noreaga hooked up on We Can Freak It remix on Kurupt's Kuruption album. so i guess they squashed the beef? or maybe it wasnt no beef but as you say Noreaga replyed to New york New york with La,La.

I think he was just saying that if they come to L.A. they'll get fucked up because the dudes in L.A. gangbang and like fighting. But remember, Tupac was definetely on marijuana at that point and maybe on E. Don't take what he said to heart, heh.

^It was a serious situation, I mean in the DPG video Snoop was crushin buildings in NY and shit. It was released while Pac was alive cuz he said that shit at the House of Blues like someone else said. He didn't really get a chance to diss them though cuz he died not too long after that.
House of Blues was July 4..he got shot Sept 6. That's a good 2 months. I think if he wanted to diss them he would've in that time period. It's safe to assume he had no plans on attacking them.

the war report came out in 1997...but the original LA LA (which was over the NY NY beat) came out before pac died...and yes pac did hear it

reason why tupac didnt diss em back...

1.cnn didnt directly say anything to tupac
2.cnn were up and commers at the time...werent big enough to be dissed by pac yet

Maybe 'Pac has something recorded and refers to Noreaga and his diss which we dont know about.

I guess 'Pac's and Biggie's death specially 'Pac's made some people realize all the beefing wasn't worth it after all because as they saw it lead to deaths. it certainly made Snoop realize that and i guess same with Kurupt and thats why then later on him and Noreaga hooked up on same album.

Pac was one of the first reasons that start tha easy-west beef
i dont think dpg was out there for beefin', they was just shootin' their video and showin what the west Can do in NY
And after pac signed with tha row, It was only him n suge who was beefin, The rest was bitch ass mufuckaz who didnt deserve 2 ride with pac

It's true that Pac was the main person beefing, but I wouldn't call the rest of the guys "bitch ass mufuckaz." Although Daz and Kurupt didn't diss, I would give them props for their stance in the midst of the beef. Remember, Dogg Pound (especially Kurupt) had a lot of ties to a lot of East Coast rappers, but when Pac came on board, they (especially Kurupt) sided with Pac. Think back to how Kurupt used to give Biggie props (watch the Death Row performance from the 1995 Source Awards, Kurupt shouts him out during "What Would U Do"), then on "Don't Stop" he's adlibing "Bad Boy killa" behind Pac's verse... and I might add that Nas was originally on that song, but they took him off and put Pac on instead because of the beef or whatever. Snoop, however, was obviously being a punk about the situation.

I cant still understand why snoop would backstabbed pac like that
Ya know, he was his record mate, Plus they were good friends
I dont see any reasons that snoop would say that shit on the Angie Martinez radio
But he was jelous of pac comin 2 deathrow at all, i guess

Daz and Snoop were present in the studio while Biggie recorded a song for Life After Death.2Pac must have been alive at the time or not long dead. They werent really behind Pac at all. They are just bitches.

Kurupt and Noreaga are pretty close now.

I don't see how everyone gets so pissed off at snoop for "backstabbing" Tupac, or what ever you want to call it. Shit, Tupac dissed Dre countless time. And let's face it, we wouldn't even know who Snoop is without Dr. Dre. And I'm sure Snoop knows that with out Dr. Dre, he'd never be as sucessful as he is today.

Having said that, how do you think Snoop felt with Tupac being so vocal about his feelings towards Dre? If i was in snoop's shoes, i would've been pretty fucking pissed if someone was talking shit about the 1 guy who brought me into the industry. Could've snoop felt "backstabbed" by Tupac for dissing Dre all the time?

What do you all think?

Homeboys... I ain't goin' to speak on that subject, I'll just say in general. Homeboys need to stick together. And if your homeboy don't show loyalty to you, or if your homeboy isn't there when you need him most, he's probably not going to be there through the kinda hard times. So that kinda like lets you know who you should be with and you shouldn't be with. And, I always say, what's done in the dark always comes to light.

There were reasons for it.

^^ exactly!!

dre wasnt present during snoops trial. how bitch is that??

im not saying that dre should not be respected. i just think that he was a coward for not being with his homeboy during his worst days.
