Lack of Kadafi/Fatal guest appearances on 2Pac albums (released while alive)

This is something I noticed while listening to a lot of the official 'Pac releases that he oversaw and put out, like Me Against The World, AEOM, and Makaveli.

Kadafi and Fatal, generally considered by most, if not all, 'Pac fans to be the 2 best Outlawz of the group, were only on a handful of tracks while EDI, Kastro, Noble, and Napoleon were all over the records. What gives?

MATW:

Me Against The World - Kadafi - 1 verse
Outlaw - half a verse

AEOM:

All About U - Kadafi, Fatal - half a verse from each
When We Ride - Kadafi, Fatal - half a verse from each

Makaveli:

Hail Mary - Kadafi, Fatal - 4 lines
Just Like Daddy - Kadafi - half a verse

Seriously, what gives? Does anyone have any theories as to why they were underrepresented while the generally "inferior" outlawz EDI, Kastro, etc, were all over the records? Certainly, unreleased/bootleg/posthumous/compilation/soundtrack/single tracks indicate that Kadafi and Fatal outshined and even outworked their peers, yet they get no love on the albums.

Was 'Pac saving them for something else, not wanting to spring their unbelievable talent on the world just yet?

Was 'Pac pissed at them for some unexplainable reason? I hope not because they held it down for him more than others, in my opinion.

Was 'Pac actually ghostwriting the other Outlawz' verses and just threw them on there while he didn't want to do the same to Kadafi and Fatal because they could actually write? The "U Can Be Touched" controversy exposed Napoleon, and this possibility has been in the back of my mind since then, for not just him but all the other Outlawz still living (and sucking it up).

This has been bothering me since last night. What do you guys think?

okay then what about just kadafi? i guess the fatal thing makes sense because he wasn't in the group at the time of MATW and pac was pissed at him during the making of makaveli.

the verse from outlaw probably made it last minute & the all eyez ones were just how Pac wanted to feature the lawz @ the time. and the rest of the album was hella solo and wide range of other artists not in the click

with Makaveli it was more of pacs album for him, and you gota remember the material that made the cut was all put down in 3 days so if you were doins omethin else or not around exactly when pac felt like havin people jump on u wouldnt get on. and Fatal was, yeah at the time not on right terms with pac and back in jersey but also had lot of legal shit too.

think of all the tracks yaki and fatal Are on from 96 and other tracks from the makaveli sessions. &like you said they were main ones in group pacs generals and shit what kfatal said right about the fatal & felony idea too.

you can picture kastro/edi bein on pacs side alot durin all of this time. and later noble

edit oh also just look at the tracks the rest of immortalz at the time too were on with AEOM, mopreme & syke

It's both of them, listen closely. That's what I always thought and that's what the liner notes of the album say.
written by makaveli, kastro, young noble, kadafi, tyrone wrice, prince ital joe, fetal published by joshua's dream etc... whats "fetal".. i dont think they meant fatal

^^yea ive got 2 copies of the makaveli album (1996 and 2005 releases) and both say Fetal so I think they didn't type it wrong... who knows, but I haven't noticed that it's Fatal in Hail Mary, only noticed Kadafi...

It was Pac's philosophy that whoever could write something could be on the track. If you take too long to write, you won't be on it. Consider the pace they were working at. Pac was known to finish songs in 10-15 minutes. It could be that Fatal and Kadafi were slow writers.
