Last Night...

They played tha whole 2Pac album from start to finish on KMEL starting at about midnight. I turned on tha radio and heard tha very end of Untouchable, then Pac's Life came on. After that I heard some reggae sounding guy singing. For some reason I was thinkin, this can't be Carl Thomas on Dumpin, and I heard Pac start rappin :(. I listened to tha whole thing and then Play Your Cards Right came on. I had to shut it off after that because I didn't want to hear any of tha album before I bought it.

I don't know why everyone is saying Dumpin is so tight. Tha bell is cool, but tha rest of tha beat sucks. Play Your Cards Right actually had a really cool beat, but Pac doesn't sound right on it.

Yeah somethin with Pac on play ya cards right. and the beat Im gettin more acceptive of because in the beginnin its just the whole time i think about how good the OG is with the shit. i think the ludacris version is better than keyshias

dumpin is probably the one on the shit that i turn on most, and actualy leave it on. but i could do without papoose's verse & some more pac. but i love the beat

the problem is even some of the others is Just listenable, thats probably why i would say its better than lttg like everyone else is sayin basically. the problem comes when the shit just doesnt match or people getin mixed in in what i think would be the wrong spots that almost kills it.

i was thinkin last night if somebody could take each one of these tracks and corect em the best possible way it would be more of an album than it is

How is dumping good

do you know how many of pacs lyrics they left out!!!

need all of pacs lyrics in it.

no i dont know what lyrics were taken out... thats probably one of the reasons why i like that track too... but i do think it would have been even better if Pac had a nother verse on there...

i noticed that Dumpin was the only OG i hadnt heard yet, and its my favorite track on the album...lol...i even put it ahead of soon as i get home... lol is there a corelation between not hearing an OG and liking the new version? i think so...lol...

Have you still not heard it? I'll up it if you haven't so you can see how much tha OG kills tha album version.

If you don't like Dumpin then I feel sorry for you :( when you'll waste.. I mean buy the new album and bump it :( There'll be some sad moments. When i first heard dumpin i was like: not bad but og kills it. 30 minutes later I copied Dumpin and Soon as i get home to my mp3 folder and deleted Pacs life album

I only heard it once. I'm sure I just need to listen to it a few more times...

then I'll realise it still sucks.

Did you fall off the short bus? You downloaded an illegal bootleg of Pac's Life that is EDITED.

thanx 4 that... i just listened to it once.. and surprisingly i like the beat and feel of the new version on Pacs Life better... but thugpoundz right about pacs lyrics... i didnt really compare em too in depth... but his lyrics do seem shorter and cut off in the new version... not sure why they did that... but then again im not sure why Amaru does a lot of things...

i dont know... im really thinking that everyone on the boards would like the new stuff put out more if we were never exposed to the OGs... just like in my case... i really dislike the new whats next track in comparison to the OG i heard first.... but if i put the memory of the og aside... then its an okay track... but in comparison, they're two different songs...

more so with playa cards right... i really liked the feel of the og with kci and jojo... while, i dont think the new tracks are that bad, i like em but i also liked the OG vibe better... But with a song like Dumpin, where i heard it on Pacs Life first, then i listened to the OG... the OG beat does sound dated and isnt as good as the new version...but thats just my humble opinion :)

Shakes head at LuvinAlize

I guess that's your opinion. We would like alot more of tha relased songs if we hadn't heard tha OG's.

This is a sad truth.. But i think that with an open mind, if u really want to be objective, u can really like or dislike the new tracks for what they are, and not comparatively to the OG's..

That said, i really dont understand how anyone says that the Dumpin' OG is better than the album's :woah: !!! Guys, the OG is not even a song!!! It's a pre-mix.. It's a pella on drums. This is some serious mis-judgment people... If u had said that u liked Daz' remix better, i would've understood it.. I'm still torn between the Daz version and the album's version... But the OG is.. well as i said, it's a pella on some drums...

Pz.
