You guys are retarded. If you guys did your homework, you would have enough evidence to realize that it is THUG IN ME. The version of Thug in Me that we have all believed to be the OG is not the true OG, but that is how the song was in its stage of development by the time Pac died.
For those of you who have the In His Own Words interview CD, listen to the track entitled "Last Projects" where Pac says "I just did a remix for 'What'z Ya Phone #'... which is like... I did all new lyrics. I took that MC Lyte beat that she got out... 'Keep On... movin' up.' I did a remix off of that with that. It's so freaky, you will not believe it."
Ever since Thug in Me first appeared on bootlegs, what was its alternate title? "What'z Ya Phone # (Remix)" And what are the first few words that Pac says in the alleged OG? "I like that beat that MC Lyte got... Johnny J, flip that shit, let's do that shit over. Let's do that shit Death Row-style."
Logical deduction will indicate that the very first Thug In Me beat used the same Michael Jackson sample as MC Lyte's "Keep On" (also shared with the retail version of "Letter 2 My Unborn") as indicated by the intro from the bootleg version of "Thug in Me" as well as the Pac interview with Sway. Later on, the instrumental was re-worked to sound more in-tune with the subject matter, much like how the Toss It Up OG instrumental was different then later changed with Pac's knowledge for whatever reason.
