the most likely case is that they didn't have the master for the song (a la Soon As I Get Home), so they used Daz's pella which was pretty much all there was. i wouldn't call that a verse really tho, more like a half assed chorus

edit: wait, which verse are you talking about, the end of Pac's verse, or the lines later in the song, the "I'm dumpin, empty my gun, it's time to run cuz here comes the cops, i'll be duckin' em for blocks..." line?

or maybe they just didn't want to use it...cause they really only used one verse per song excluding Pac's Life which has TLIL verse on it...

I completely forgot about that part of the track, I guess it's been a long time since I listend to the og.

EDIT: After listening to the track again, it seems like Pac's second verse has been edited. When pac says "....I'll be duckin em for blocks nigga I'm Dumpin...... you can clearly hear some distortion, like the track has been cut and pasted back together.

they didn't use it because they didn't have it. you can hear the daz adlibs on the acapellas they got from him (like don't go to sleep), which means that they were given the versions daz had made for his own md songs.

what i don't get is, if tupac recorded his vocals in 96, shouldn't the background noise in the acapella still be from the beat in his headphones as he recorded it? and how did daz get his beat on the dumpin acapella when it was made after tupac was dead? it's a trick to try and fool people into believing it's not a remix?
