MJ's response to LeBrick

So what? Every interview I see with any player, whether it's beginning of the season, middle of the season, or end of the season, one thing that stays constant is that the ultimate dream is the NBA Championship. I never heard Kobe say, "Hey, my goal this year is to gain the respect of my peers". No, it's a motherfucking ring. Fuck what people say.

Respect comes with winning championships.
That's what I'm saying though. His rings are already tarnished.

Is that the supporting cast that scored one point more than Lebron did in the 3rd quarter? 25 to 24. Pathetic :thumb:
You can't really compare Last season's Cavaliers WITH a player like Bronbron and today's cavs... And anyway, most of the players from last year are not there anymore. The only good ones left are Jamison and Mo Williams. I also like Varejao, but he's not great.

Jamison is one of my all time favorite players. I'm pissed that he's with the Cavs.

Is Shaq a big miss though? I think he had career lows at Cleveland but he must be pushing 40 so yeah..
I'm not sure if he's a starter for Boston as the regular season doesn't really excite me so I have no idea.
He wasn't the central figure (as far as I know) but it's Shaq. He's huge. Defensively he's going to be a distraction. He's a starter for Boston since Perkins is out, he's actually doing pretty well. By the time Shaq retires he would have played for every team. Prediction.

Also the Cavs don't even have the same coach. The whole club has changed so comparisons are just silly talk.

Exactly. The fans are still the same. Their hunger for a championship has not changed. Which is what was the source of the problem to begin with. LeBron promised the championship and wanted to be referred to as "King James." And if you know Cleveland, they're starving for a championship of any sort. Sports are not a bright spot for the city. So when someone or something comes along and does what LeBron did, it's a big thing in the sports world. Outside of that, it's nothing.

Remember A-Rod did the same with the Rangers. Remember the backlash? For different reasons, something similar happened with Sosa and the Cubs. Damon and the Red Sox?

Isnt crazy that Shaq is the oldest player in the league at the moment... I know right.

He is doing pretty good in Boston, they scare me. I see no way the Heat can beat them, or Orlando for that matter. It's going to be Celts vs Lakeshow again, I'm thinking at least.
