MY dyin day

Really? Pac's verse just sounds so Death Row-ish to me, vocally and content-wise.
Yeah, I thought it was Death row era song too. Doesn't the lady singing in the background during Pac's hook sound like she's singing the melody to Troublesome '96? Plus toward the end of the song when he repeats the chorus, reminds me of his "All out" war voice.

Yes, they both sing to the melody of the Jewish national anthem I believe.

side note: does anyone with knowledge of studio dates know if better dayz was recorded around the time soon after stretch's funeral, cuz ive always wondered about the:

"too many funerals, too many tears, just seen another brother buried, plus i knew him for years, passed by his family but what could i say? keep ya head up and pray for better days"

btw my assumption about dyin day would be the same as what dante said about being recorded in 94 and stretch maybe finished it up in 95?

Is it actually confirmed that the song is from '95?

Sounds strange to me that Stretch would finish up a pac song when pac hated him at the time.

we already established that pac only started beefing with stretch toward the later half of his stint.

The beef became apparent around the time of the VIBE interview in prison, right? Stretch's response was some angry words.
