So.. for those who know not, I'm spending the next semester in Denmark.

I've been in Aarhus for already 3 weeks now, that makes 21 days, out of which i've been sober 5. Danes are crazy drinkers. I've seen people pass out in the bus at 2pm. Guys fall asleep at bus stops at 8pm because they were too drunk. Girls puke in the entrance of a McDonalds.

The streets of the city on fridays and saturdays is like New Orleans during Mardi Gras... it's incredible. The clubs close at 6am, and the 7-11s make awesome food.

The exchange students are pretty cool.

There's people from Barcelona, Lithuania, Latvia, the Czech Republic, Madrid, Singapoure, Turkey, North Carolina and Oregon State University.

Our introduction week was practicaly like in that Beerfest movie. I don't remember much of it to be honest.

I live in a dorm with 11 other students. It's like a huge floor. Our rooms are around the kitchen and the living room. There's a balcony too from which I can see the sea.

My friends have problems with their roomies because they only speak in Danish, but I was lucky to fall on roomates who speak english when I'm around and I appreciate that a lot.

Yesterday we went to Germany to buy cheap beer. We bought 78 cases of 24 beers. We filled a trailer of beer. My hallway is ridiculous now. It costed us 620$US of beer.

We decided that the price will be 0,60$US per beer so we can buy some more when we finish this.

Since last night, we're at 75 cases left.

Except that I was at the Ministry of Sound party a few weeks ago, crazy night. Started off partying with my roomates at 6pm. Went out at 8. We got pre-funked until 1am and left for the party. Got out of there at around 4:30am, went downtown to get some food and to an after-hour place. Came back home at 5:30am, my roomates were still partying so I joined them. Went to bed at 7am.

It's a non stop party here... One of the American guys actualy has problems with his liver now. Just to give you an idea.

The school is pretty easy too, which gives me time to travel a lot. I'll go to Holland *stares at Duke* and maybe to the Oktoberfest *stares at Seb*.

Anywas, if any of you Euros want to come here, just tell me, I don't care, I have an extra couch.

Damn, you should go a little further and come to Poland or Czech republic for even cheaper and good beer ;)
I'm planning a little eurotrip by the end of september so I'll probably visit Denmark too.

^^ Scandinavians are crazy, though. Alcohol is so expensive in the Scandinavian countries themselves, so they'll literally go on trips to score booze (Germany, mainly). They'll drink ludicrous amounts when they get the chance. The Finnish are the worst I believe, since the country is hilariously strict on alcohol, yet they're 3 piss-lengths from the Russian and Baltic borders, so yeah, drinking party.

I'll probably be in London in 2-3 weeks too.. I'm going to visit my aunt in Wimbledon. How about a little British SH meeting? :)

That sounds fun, I CAN'T wait to study abroad myself. I'm planning for Australia next spring. One of my good friends from high school is studying in Denmark this year too, the school's in Copenhagen. When I go though I hope I don't become this cliche and drink my memory away there, my roommate when she studied in Germany had the time of her life, but was drinking all the time too! I guess you can't resist a good party wherever you are. Which is somewhat familiar... all the foreign exchange students I've met at my school seem to come for the parties as well. But yeah, I've just wanted to go to another country for so long, I'm stoked you're over there now and enjoying yourself.
