why do most of you speak so badly of California?
Because LA sucks and the State is broke.

Most people think of this glamorous image but its full of a-holes who serve no purpose on this earth.

I agree with Bill Hicks: The next big earthquake should remove most of Cali and create Arizona Bay

Chronic, I love that show, Have watched all of the episodes so far.

And I recognise that LA isn't for everyone but I love it there.

Thanks everyone. It's about time for a major life shift. I ain't one of those people that was born to live in the same place my whole damn life. Looking forward to new challenges :)

Sometimes it's okay to spend your whole life in one place. Immanuel Kant spent his whole life in Konigsberg, died there, and is buried there (though it is now called Kaliningrad). This has been a minute with Ristol.

With your music, I'd suggest LA. Portland sounds nice and a good move for you now, but I would suggest San Diego, LA, or San Fran.
You going to start a family in the near future because of the move or no?

...and Congrats! :)

Yeah that's my thinking. I already know lots of industry people in LA and SF. Anyway, not like it's hard to get to. 2 hour flight from Portland to LA.

LA is pretty polarizing it seems. Most folks I know either love it or hate it. I like places like that. London is kinda the same in that respect.

I hear that in LA, every day people try to fatten their pockets. They hustle for their cash - it's hard to knock that mentality.

I'm partaking in the act of smoking cannabis, whilst I observe the rapid passing of time. I am contemplating the acts of both existing, and passing away within the city of Los Angeles.
