/\ pac jacked the beat for "the struggle continues" from the same place nas jacked it from, its originally from the run dmc track "jam master jay"

Its against the law to sample someone and not credit them in the book. So I'd say he did. And on mentioning Thug Mansion, thats an idea that every thug has somewhere to go to relax - its not copywritted by Tupac and he never said this is mine nobody else can say it.
If you didnt know Pac & Nas squashed the beef (theres plenty of people on both sides who witnessed it) at the MTV Awards before Pac died, and Nas has been working with Amaru. I dont understand the problem with mentioning Pac its like ya'll want to keep him a secret or some shit.
What does Nas say thats biting If I Die 2Nite verse?

It's not exactly every five seconds.. At that time Jay Z was talking bout who's the best, now would you rather Nas not mention Pac at all? Then you could bitch bout how his not giving Pac props.
Although he does say that its hardly in the same flow as If I Die 2nite, and the entire song is on a completely different rhythm.. Sounds more like a DMX type song than a Pac song.

I agree Nas probably got it from that song.
I dont really mind them mentioning Pac, especially Nas coz his a legend in his own right. I think its good Pac gets props from rappers coming out today shows they have influence from the man and that cant be a bad thing. I dont like it when rappers mention Pac and then in their own music dont talk about issues Tupac was big on, gives me the impression they're just using his name to make themselves bigger, although many fans mistake that for biting.

When rappers mention Pac, I don't think they're tryin to disrespect him or copy him. The reason they mention him is because he is a legend and an inspirational figure to them. Look at the Game's new album, he mentions Pac in nearly every beat, its just a sign of respect.

who cares if he mentions Pac or quotes one his lines? People do it all the time, and not just with Pac. Big used Snoop for the Hypnotize hook, Em used Rakim for the Way I Am hook, etc etc etc. he's not biting him.

Interesting use of words

It's irrelevant if it's a Run DMC beat because it comes down to concepts, I would say that Nas got it from Pac if Nas's song that Hellrazor5 metioned is along the same lines of Tupacs The Struggle Continues with the same beat.(Run DMCs) Then Nas is Biting Pac.

Simple

But if he does not rap about similar things as Pac in The Struggle Continues then it ain't Biting.
I don't think
