New 2Pac Album Info!!!

uhhhh buddy...it's called clearing the sample and actually paying some cash to uphold a legacy and keep fans pleased...which gives them more $$$$ in the end
Its also called not that easy to do and cheaper and better to do there own shiet because then they would 100% own the songs beats etc. Theres a lot of complications and work i'm sure that would go to clear all those thousands of songs that were done 10 years ago. I'm not a dumbass and i'm sure you aren't too. I'm just sayings its over 10 years now, Amaru etc have been doing this year in year out. (There's no need to bitch, not saying u are the only one or i'm directing this towards you.) That the song "Resist the Temptation" is being remixed. That song is decent, it doesn't hold the same value as "Soon as I get Home" where people demanded that to stay OG. (Yes i know the lost the master too). But the point is...its just Resist the Temptation. The content of the song is good, but the beat is nothing to be proud of. I'm glad they are remixing it.

I know i'll have a lot of haters get on me for this, but i'm one of the few who actualy think on the MOST part. Amaru has done a good job on remixing MOST of the songs. YES i know they butchared a HAND FULL of songs, Hand fulls! But on the most part, they haven't done a bad job on MOST of the songs. There i said it, its true I believe. But whining about 2Pac songs being remixed in 2007/2008 is pointless now.

are u insane...the simplicity of that beat is what makes it so attractive and raw..just raw lyrics over a raw beat..there is no need to remix it but if they do it well i'm not complaining..if u don't give OG give anything close...and they have more than enough money to pay for samples and go through all of the troubles that come with it...they need to label up and do what labels are supposed to do..plus they need to give us real pac back...

I understand that some songs have to be remixed because they are either a) outdated or b) samples can't be cleared. But for you to say that only a handful of songs are bad is just ridiculous. I mean the ENTIRE L2TG album was complete trash! Seeing as how the only song i hear random people bumping on the street from Pac's Life album is Soon As I Get Home proves that some songs will hit a wide audience without having to be remixed. Yet they continue to remix songs and remove people not because they can't clear samples, it's because Amaru is too cheap to pay to clear the samples or to pay the artists. They would rather get some mediocre producer to produce it for scraps and they'd rather have "popular" artist to contribute for free. The "samples can't be cleared" thing is straight bullshit, i mean look at the song Friends. They "couldn't" clear the sample yet they have cleared the sample for Troublesome 96? Point of the matter is that Amaru and every other money hungry person with a hand in the cookie jar are responsible for the destruction of Pac's legacy. Mone Money Money is all that matters to them these days not Pac's legacy!

^^ word! They making 10 million dollars a year off of 2pac, ya saying they can't clear samples?

I mean Michael Jackson even cleared the samples on a few tracks (or the one who owns those rights). I don't think they're even trying to clear some of the samples.

If Amaru stayed true to the legacy and cleared almost ALL of the samples, then 2pac would still have a multi platinum fanbase, which would make Amaru even more millions!

The most succesfull posthumous albums sold WELL over 5 million copies worldwide, but I doubt that 2pac sells more than 2 million on LTTG and PL. That's millions to invest on clearing samples!

Yeah my bad, i forgot about the last two albums. I had those thoughts repressed and wanted to forget about them. But anyways i'm not upset "Resist the temptation" is being remixed. I'm more mad at what the track lists is going to be.
