It's cool. I grew up with an aunt who always had 'friends' around during the holidays so I'm pretty open to it, not that type of open... anyways this is cool, dont see why they dont get equal laws and such. rainbows yaaaaaayy *limp wrists*
I look at that and see it no different than a hetero-couple. It doesn't make me sad or happy - I'm indifferent cause it was never a big fuss to me personally.
It makes me happy that more places are becoming progressive and open-minded, and not basing their laws on stupid retarded old fictional fairy story books from thousands of years ago.
I would LOVE to know what all those homophobic backwoods redneck bible bashing motherfuckers thought of Elton John's recent statement regarding jesus being gay. haha.
In October 1989, Denmark became the first country to recognize same-sex unions in the form of "registered partnerships". In 2001, the Netherlands became the first nation to grant same-sex marriages
I'm not tryna USA-bash, but for a land that calls itself "home of the free", there's a whole bunch of other countries that offer more freedom.
And I'm talking actual freedoms and human rights, such as marriage even though you're queer. Being allowed to unload your shotgun in your yard isn't exactly a fundamental human right in my book.
