Just seen it, movie was eh..alright overall (bit lengthy), but they made themselves (Big & Puffy) look like a bunch of innocent little angels during the whole east-west war.

Tupac was in it for like only a few scenes.

Wasn't surprised, figured that's what they'd do, but just sucks, cuz that's what everyone will believe now, unless you were old enough to remember what was really going on during the time.

They could've focused on a lot of different things, but since the main idea was to make everyone see Biggie, the man as a whole, not just a musician, they did their jobs.

Lol, no wonder Lil Kim was upset about the movie, they made her look like such a slut.

I enjoyed the movie, thought the guy playing puffy could have done better. Sean Combs had executive prouducer on the movie of course he's gonna make himself look like a angel.

heard Lil Kim was suing the people who made this movie. i dont understand why? thats what type of person she was.

i would personally like to see a full 2 1/2 to 3 hour movie about Pac. hes the one that has a more interesting story

^^^to piggyback off your last thought there, i always wanted to see dual movies of them. released at the same time, they would each cover one of their lives and, in the parts with both of them, use the same footage, with maybe different angles and perspectives. i thought that would've been cool.

too bad it will never happen now.

still wanna see Notorious, though.

I know i wish Pac had a movie like this too with this same kind of promotion. Right now the timing was perfect for Biggies movie to come out because there's no good movie out right now. Plus Pac has a more interesting story not to be bias or anything but its true. I think even Biggie fans would agree, well maybe?

Anyways if they did do a movie on Pac they probably make Pac an angel too. I felt they were too nice on Ressurection. Yes Pac was intellectual etc, but i really REAALLY want to see the naughty, bad, gangster, stupid side of Pac. I've read a lot of stories of Pac getting into fights, being hard, doing stupid stuff. If ur going to do a movie u have to stay true to it. Show the good and bad of the character. If u stay too good or angel its too decieving just like seeing a guy smile all the time the first time u meet him. U dont trust him cuz he's fake. The more real they keep the movie the more respect u will get.

We know Pac had both sides to him, same with Biggie, i haven't seen the movie yet but show Biggie being bad too. Show him throwing Faith's clothes out of the house when he heard the rumor of her fucking Pac etc. A Pac movie done right would be HUGE!!

the only time they made biggie look like an angel was when they were showing the whole studio shooting...

Lil' Cease: Hey biggie! 2pac's here!
Biggie: That's just swell! go down there and tell him to come on up!
Lil' Cease: OK!
(Lil' Cease gets in the elevator with some other guy)
Lil' Cease: Man i can't wait to smoke pac's weed! i heard he's got the best shit!
*gunshots heard from elevator*
(Lil' Cease looks stunned)
Biggie: O NOOOO! not my boy pac!

haha... who knows tho... there's always two sides to a story

the movie was not bad and watchable, the acting was ok nuttin special the best was the woman playing his mum, was also pretty long and slow. bit like 50's get rich, some bits were boring. i was more interested in the whole pac bit. they did make the east look inoccent and sane while they made the west look like they were krazy an of their nuts.

the whole scene with pac gettin shot was gay wen pac got to the room after gettin shot an hes lik "get away from me, ya'll set me up" lol an so far from the truth i bet.

also it made suge and pac look like pussys wen 1 of bigs bodygaurds pulled out a gun wen they were at the awards show in LA and pac an suge backed off an got bak into the car. i've heard stories bout this that they both went face to face an had to be split up by a group of guards or summit.

also another bit that was gay and over the top and not tru was big doin a show in LA an evry1 is booing them with 2pac signs and shit an then he stopped says summit an plays who shot ya and every is happy an rockin with them.

i also get the feelin big an puff werent as close as puff says or any1 else not jus from seeing this movie but with the comments bigs mum has made and stuff. puff really did milk the shit out of big death to make it where he is now.

would really like them to make a pac 1, will be more in it and a better story.

resurrection was totally fair. It was presented from neither perspective. I laughed so much watching this one. They made biggie an angel while Pac looks like an asshole only thinking about bitches and weed and wanting to kill biggie for no reason.

Well the whole Quad Studio shooting is so controversial and so mixed up by fans. I'm pretty sure Biggie didn't want Pac to get shot that night. Lets face it they were tight! The whole thing that is confusing about it is that the media or biggie fans or fans in general believe that Pac was mad at Biggie because he thinks that Biggie set him up. The beef from what i understand was NOT really about that angle! The angle was, that BIG knew those guys that shot him and failed to warn Pac about it while he was coming over. BIG should have been smarter to know and let Pac go in there while they were waiting for him.

From what i remember in the interviews and VIBE book. Biggie told Pac to watch out for those guys, Pac said why? Big said i'll tell u later. Well later was too late, Pac came over to the Quads, those guys were there, Big and everyone knew Pac was coming but still no warning to Pac that trouble was there. I guess it was neglect on Biggies part or what?

To be honest i dont really care anymore.

I liked the female playin lil kim though. I'd be captain sav-a-hoe once in my life

I started streaming it, just cause I heard Lil'Kim's boosoms are quite nice, but then I got to the part where they introduced Pac, then got pissed cause not only does he not sound/look like Pac, even in the beginning he looks like some lunatic on bad speed.

Anyways, Biggie will always just be a chocolate muffin on steroids for me.
