I voted for the full silk screen pressed (the second option on the poll). Mainly because it costs less, you will save money for bigger and better things, plus like you said it wont lose any quality with this type of pressing.

On the other hand since it is unreleased material being pressed as well, it would be even nicer to have this pressed differently then other mixtapes and kept as a collectable.

I'm not 100% sure I will buy as of yet, but if I do decide to buy it I wouldnt mind either type of pressing.

...if people buy the set (at a discounted price) i am thinking i'll also include one unleaked song as a thank you.
that sounds like a good deal dante... how about having a poll on here where the board could select one of like 3 or 5 unleaked songs to be on your set... just a thought.... looking forward to OGVGH though...

^u happy with the raiders pick?? i think the best drafts went to either the titans or patriots but we'll see what happens

back to topic... i picked the second option cuz it's the obvious one for a cheaper price and lookin pretty good... who cares what the bottom of the cd looks like... :)

lol this isn't the sears catalogue. people are going to have to be happy with whatever they get.

LOL

well it was just a suggestion, this is a thread to help with decision making... and besides I'm sure you could come up with 3-5 tracks that you'd be willing to drop with equal value.. anyway.. I will be happy with whatever I get, I know I wouldn't have had to put in any time and effort to get the track so...

Will you be using PayPal or mail? I finally got off my ass and got a PP account so that would be the best method of purchase for me.

Estimated Date of release?

I think you should go with whatever is more cost efficient for you, I don't really care about silver bottoms. MC Juice dropped a mixtape at that show I went to about 2 months ago, and he had a CD-R bottom for his mixtape. No big deal.

It's the content that matters most.

I have a billion "silver bottom" retails CD's I could care less about and don't listen to anymore for whatever reason.

The bottoms could be puke green -- who cares this is Pac! (the way he should be)

I think the bottom line here is the inherent sound quality of the music. You are going to have a tough time selling poorly encoded mp3’s burned to CD no matter how nicely they’re packaged. On the other hand if you are putting out unreleased stuff in studio quality wav I would imagine you could sell dubbed cassettes for a very high price.

I don’t know what type of audio quality you’re working with (I would imagine pretty good) but my advise would be only release something that’s truly CD quality. Otherwise the average listener with moderate interest will pass.
