i wonder what organisations like the RSPCA has to say about the conditions animals are reared in for food.
surely with it being a 'Royal Society' it would follow that they hold sway over the whole legislation of how animals are treated, not just as pets but for those in farms also.
i am currently reading Gordon Ramsay's 2nd autobiography, one particular chapter i read today was about charity and good causes. Ramsay said that he doesn't support charities for good will causes to animals, and then went on to say that organisations like the NSPCC (national society of prevention of cruelty to children) is just a National Society, but the RSPCA is a Royal Society. why should there be a royal society about animal cruelty and not child cruelty? it sounds odd
