I say good night to my Tupac poster before I go to bed, and say good morning to it when I wake up. (when I take a nap in the middle of the day, I just say "holla back soon")
Surely to fuck this is a joke right?

Yeah, most things are wack now-a-days in Rap / hip/hop, but there are a few that come with real lyrics, feelings etc.

They are:

Napoleon
Cormega
AZ
Zosa - new guy i found, he's real good.
Outlawz

but............. most of all...........Joe Budden - he is spittin absolute fuckin FIRE at the moment, i mean real ass songs & lyrics. You wanna check buddens shit out, i'm tellin ya.

o yeah man i kno to listen to otha shit 2. I like some other shit i guess like kanye, even some 50 cent sometimes, and that new biggy album was straight 2 but idk man nothin will ever be as good as 2pac...ever. I mean seeing that he is still the highest selling rapper around ten years after his death reflects the influence he has had and will continue to have on rap in general. Another question 2....Is jonny J and shock really guna do his new album and who knows some shit about dis.
you'll never know man.. i've found people that I like as much as pac

i listen to very little rap anymore but 2pac i still listen to atleast weekly. 2pac is the only rapper i have never got sick of but people should definently expand their musical boundaries outside of just pac. there is tons of great music out there. as far as rap though i agree nobody comes close as to making me feel their songs like pac does and what i can feel is what i will listen to again and again. peace

The whole Thug Life album is 5 mics, straight classic to me. It's sad that casual rap fans and even fans of this forum don't acknowledge the songs on that album and that album period. I'm going to make a post about "Thug Life" not being appreciated soon because it aches the hell out of me that it's not appreciated. But yeah, 2Pac in 1994 was at his best imo.

^^ dont know if he was at his best in 94, but it was an incredible era: Thug Life + MATW + RUSD.

one of his best work - the makaveli album - was released in 96.... man, i wonder what we'd see nowadays if he was here.

I could listen to 2pac all day everyday; I truthfully could not get sick of his music. I get hyped actually.

In reality, no 1 could be compared to him from his character to his philosophy and viewpoints of life.

However 2pac is one of those artists where I see that ppl only want to listen 2 him all the time. It’s more common then not
.
I feel ya homie, i dont never get tired or bored of listening to him :thumb:
And Bury Me A G, is hella tight :thumb:

There's too much Pac songs to just "get tired" of him. There's always a Pac song to suit my mood.. and when there isn't, I listen to other rappers for about a week and then I'm in the mood for Pac again.

Bury Me a G is classic, Thug Life album is Classic. Theres maybe one or two songs on there I dont absolutely love.
I used to listen to Pac alot more, well I could say that about music in general really I dont get the time I used to, to just sit and listen. But I like it that way sort-of since when I do put on a Pac album its like listening for the first time again, just the feeling. I think it is important to listen to other rappers tho cause they the ones trying to put out the messages now and as much as Pac still relates to today, theres some things he just doesnt have the ability to say about where we live now n the things going on. People like Dead Prez, Talib n Mos, Common n all them are on the level as far as being aware. Anyway this post is draggin :p

Before i fight i listen to pac, before i do a move i listen to pac and while i fuck i listen to pac. I could never get tired of 2pac.
*imagines you about to fight then stop put your discman on listen to 'Hit Em Up' then say "ok I'm ready now.." *

haha who has time to listen to music before a fight? Unless its an organised one..

last 3 albums by pac was str8 garbage
I hope you mean the last 3 released after his death, because Makaveli, All Eyes on Me and Me Against the World were HOT!

Though thug life album aint my favourite i really love Pac. I grew up on Pacs music n ill never be bored of it. Maybe the thing that attracts ppl to 2pac is that he died so its kinda mystery that ppl dont understand etc + he recorded so many tracks n shit n ppl are still waitin till theyll be released. Probly when all PAcs track will leak or be released n there'll be nothing left alotta ppl will stop listen to Pac. Damn though i listen to Pac since i was 9 it seems like it was yestarday. N i started by accident :D It was my birthday n i had a "birthday party" n someone left "greatest hits" cd in my house. Next day in school i asked who left it n nobody responded so i kept it n i got it till this day :D My fav song was "how long will they mourn me" n its strange coz most ppl start listenin to Pac from "changes". N when i first heard changes i thought "pretty cool song" then when i heard "hlwtmm" i was like "damn, its sooo fuckin dope" lol plus i must tell ya that in Poland 2pac's music was soo hard to get in poland. The first CD that hit the stores was "greatest hits" so i didnt even knew before who the hell Pac is. N that was fucked up  but now im happy coz i bump 2pac everyday. I listen to many other rappers but after all i come back to 2pac n i could bump it all the time n im happy wit it

Bury me a G is a definetl classic no doubt. i think this song is listenable on all times. when you down or whatever this song is listenable anytime. when i listen to this song i think about marvin gaye's,Luther Vandross's,Al Green's and other old school cats who did real classics. this is a rap song abviously but this tune is listenable for any genres i think. i really think this song stands out from cali love, hitemup,i aint mad at cha and shit like that. i think this song is on some higher level then those songs. like those songs i just named are most famous and played out and shit 'Pac songs but Bury me a G is just unique and so original and timeless track you can listen to this forever it seems like. this song is truely one of the best quality songs ever got created. the whole Thug Life era songs are just unique compared to other era songs not only because they sound Thugish and hard but they also have unique quality, originality, timeless shit. i cant explain it. Thug Life era is my favorite era!

So your saying ppl will get sick of 2pac when “new material” ceases to come out , however you continue listening to him daily?

Do people stop listening to Elvis, Sinatra, Bob Marley or even Biggie?
Of course not , if the music is good , ppl wont just get sick of it.
