First off let me just say, don't nobody bitch about me posting a review like 3 weeks after the album came out, basically, I have been offline for a month and didnt have chance to drop a review when it came out which I would of.

Also, 9/10 of all the review I have seen of this album so far have been biased, there has been a hate campaign towards Amaru since LTTG and people were gonna say this album sucked no matter what, the only good review I have seen is Pittsey's on the main page, I always have tried to give an unbiased view on Pac's posthumous albums, in my eyes, the album is already released and done so bitching about the producers and guests is pointless, just enjoy the music and be grateful guys....

1/ Untouchable (Swizz Beats Remix) - I must admit I was never really too set on this from when I first heard it, BUT it is a good album opener and it gets the ball rolling well, the beat fits it well, Krayzie Bone has a decent verse, don't think it's Pac's best 2 verses by any means but it's a decent track and works well as a album opener 3/5

2/ Pac's Life - Good idea for a single, but definetly a little too poppy for my liking, sounds so much like a Ja Rule single lol....having said that, Pac's first verse is classic, Ashanti's hook fits well, I think T.I's verse is pretty good, Pac's second verse is a little out of place, don't understand that one, anyway, this works well for what it was intended to be, a commercial single to gain airplay 3/5

3/ Dumpin - was BLOWN AWAY by this track when I first heard it, I remember blasting it out the car stereo on the way back from the record store, the intro is dope, Pac's verse is straight fire, chorus is dope, Fatal comes real hot, Papoose's verse is the worst of the three but still okay, this is definetly a banger, Pac would be proud of this shit 5/5

4/ Playa Cardz Right (Female) - not as good as the original but still pretty good, this song is crying out for a 2nd Pac verse or a 2nd verse by anyone lol...Pac comes tight of course, and I think the singing is good too, but as has been said a lot, Pac is more the guest on this song, and that just isnt right 3/5

5/ Whatz Next - Pac comes real tight on this one I think, the guests are pretty decent too, i think the beat and the chorus all fit in well, I'm kinda stuck for words about this one, it's a good track, nothing outstanding but not too bad either 3.5/5

6/ Sleep - I think this track has been slept on like crazy, apart from Dumpin its the track I have bumped the most since I got the album, the beat is dope, fits perfectly, Pac's verse is dope as fuck, and believe it or not, Young Buck and Cha both come good on this one, definetly a banger 4.5/5

7/ International - this has been hated on a lot, And I must admit I'm not too fond of it either, the beat is so basic, and sounds like it was put together in 2 seconds, I think the 2 guests, whoever the fuck they are, probably put the worst 2 guest verses in on the whole album, disapointing track 2/5

8/ Don't Sleep - Average track I think, good verse by Pac not one of his best, the beat is pretty good, kinda reminds me of Me & My Girlfriend for some reason, Don't like the hook, guests are okay, a pretty average skippable track in all honesty 2.5/5

9/ Soon As I Get Home - What can I say about this track that has not already been said? it's a gem, a classic, a masterpiece, whatever you wanna call it, we all love this shit, for a very valid motherfucking reason! wouldnt of been out of place on Makaveli or All Eyez On Me, which is probably the biggest compliment I can give to this song, Thank god it wasnt remixed 5/5

10/ Playa Cardz Right Male - I said the female version was good but just needed a few more verses, well this is basically it, don't see the need for 2 versions of this song really, good track anyway, 3.5/5

11/ Don't Stop - 2Pac featuring a million motherfuckers hahahah, pretty good track, love the intro, Pac's verse is tight of course, most the guest verses are pretty good, not much more to say about it 3.5/5

12/ Pac's Life - Same as everything I said about the first version except a good verse by Snoop 3/5

13/ Untouchable - Better than the first version I think, much more like hardcore sounding rather than for the radio like the first one, everyone comes on point, and the beat is pretty good, Fatal stands out once again on this one 3.5/5

Overall - Not as bad as most the board make it out to be, since everyone likes riding on Amaru so hard, I believe for what Amaru had to begin with, the vocals n everything they did a pretty good job, its more of a Pac duets album than anything but thats better than nothing, I think there was a few guests and one or two beats on this album that had no right to be anywhere near a Pac album, but most the choices made were the right ones or close enough, doesn't stand upto anything the great man released whilst he was alive of course, but it's a worthwhile addition to the catalogue.

my message to the Pac fans on this board

Don't Hate....Appreciate ;)

I think Dumpin' and Sleep were correctly ranked, but others you gave too much props and others you gave too little props.

And how can your review be unbiased when you're a Tupac fan like us?

Well I mean, you can probably try and be honest as much as possible but since you're a Tupac fan... to me, that automatically makes you biased. Whether we're aware of it or not, we already have expectations of 'Pac... some have heard the OGs, if not all of us... we already have this image, this preconception about Tupac and his music ... so when we hear something... we're not hearing it through uncaring, fresh pair of ears.. we're hearing the music through ears that been listening to 'Pac for years.

Untouchable Swizz remix has a good beat if you're into that shit
but the remix it self is nothing short of involuntary musical homicide. It deserves
a 2/5 just for having a nice beat.

Pacs life remix is piss and shit combined, but it has a catchy hook
and would probably be liked by the mainstream.. so 3.5/5

Both Play your cards tracks to me are frickin' fire
and deserve 5/5... some don't agree with me about the female version
but alot have said Ludacris version is that good.

What's Next is 1/5 ... you can not make a song like that into crunk and expected to be taken seriously
you gave it a 3.5... that's too fuckin much for a song that's been mutilated

International deserves no rankin'.. we should scratch our cds on the exact spot
international is located so it doesn't play.. its horrible

The reviews i've read, the comments i've seen... suggest, alot of fans loved Sleep and you gave it a very
ranking.. a bit unsual.

Don't stop and Untouchable 2nd reimx are solid track aswell and deserves a little more than 3.5

Never the less, all these tracks are poop infront of how they were...how they could of evolved and been enhanced...

which is why the album is flopping horribly.

if we are all being honest............their were a couple of songs i did like too lazy to hear it again and forgetful to remember the ones i did like, but i think the papoose one i did like AND all the beats that sha money xl produced..........................my overall CONCERN is from the producers mentality.........like LT HUTTON.....who says 'we' are just pac 'fan's' AND NOT producers or fortune tellers, to know what pac would spit on and WHO he would make a song with.......his production was aiiggggt (glad he didn't ask for $$$$$$, bcause those beats were cool for no money, but not all that) but what i didn't like is coming from a producer WHO DID work with pac in some aspect WOULD KNOW WHAT PAC'S VIBE was during those times AND HE TOTALLY CHANGED THE FEELING BY TRYING TO OUTDO PAC'S LYRICS WITH HIS FCKING PRODUCTION, kinda like a cheap attempt to advertise and get his "up to date" beats to rappers in a .........but @ pac's expense

on a side note WHATEVER HAPPENED TO RED SPYDA? i think he was the only producer who came correct in a pac cd afterdeath

Guess I'll add a quick review myself

1. Untouchable (Remix) Alright beat and Pac sounds okay over it but after more than one listen it gets fairly annoying and repetitive. Horrible chorus, okay verse by Krayzie. 2.5/5

2. Pac's Life Horrible beat and it doesn't fit Pac's verse at all. Very poppy and boring chorus. Okay verse by T.I., he can do so much better. 2/5

3. Dumpin Beat sounds pretty good at first but it the drums are subpar and doesn't give it much replay value. Also the beat too clean for Pac's verse. It still sounds good but Pac's verse loses a lot of its power. Fatal and Papoose both had decent verses. Nice chorus. 3.5/5

4. Playa Cardz Right (Female) Alright beat but it's a little too mellow for Pac's verse. I guess Keyshia Cole's parts are alright but it doesn't fit with Pac's delivery. Songs sounds too much like a Keyshia Cole song with a Pac verse mixed in. 2.5/5

5. What's Next Sounds like the beat was made with a subpar Southern rapper in mind. It does fit Pac's verse though. A3 and Jay Rock have okay verses. 2.5/5

6. Sleep Second best track on the album. Nice beat and Pac sounds good over it but like on "Dumpin" it makes Pac's verse lose some of its power. 3.5/5

7. International Horrible beat and chorus. I turned it off after the chorus. 1/5

8. Don't Sleep Shit beat. Nice verse by Nutt-So, okay verses by Kadafi and Lil Scrappy. Don't like the chorus 2.5/5

9. Soon As I Get Home No need for a comment 4/5

10. Playa Cardz Right (Male) Decent beat but it doesn't fit Pac's verse all that well. Nice verse by Ludacris and Keon Bryce's stuff is alright. This track makes the female version obsolete. Not much replay value though. 3/5

11. Don't Stop Horrible beat and chorus. Guest appearances aren't very impressive. 2/5

12. Pac's Life (Remix) When I first heard the first 15 seconds of this song I laughed my ass off. Ever worse chorus. Yawn at Snoop. What's the point of this track? 1/5

13. Untouchable The piano loop is nice but besides that it's not a very good beat and it doesn't fit Pac's verse. Not feeling Gravy. Dope verse by Kadafi but it doesn't fit the beat. Okay verse by Fatal. 2.5/5

Overall the album feels like a rushed release from a mediocre southern label. Most guest appearances weren't bad but they didn't add much to the album. On most songs you can hear the beats were redone and it actually makes Pac's verses sound outdated, creating the opposite effect of what they were going for. Barely any replay value. It was barely worth the download so I wouldn't buy this album in a million years. Nice to have "Soon As I Get Home" in this quality and I might add "Dumpin" and "Sleep" to my iPod.
I'd probably bump this over LTTG (only mentioning it because most people do) but given a choice I wouldn't listen to either.

2/5
