So.. does it really exist?
I was really excited about this one back in the days but no info of any kind for the past few years. Is it real or was it only a rumour started by Gobi?

It exists as far as I believe Gobi. There is also over two hours of unedited video footage taken during the 'hitemup' video shoot. That stuff is awesome. Watched about 20mins of it before it was pulled down from you tube.

From what I remember reading, it was a video that Gobi made from various footage, so it's not really a "real" video. Though if I'm wrong, feel free to correct me.
This is correct. Although the actual video of All About U solo has never leaked. So hopefully WideAwake or Amaru decide to release it one day since Death Row pretty much fucked up the chance to release it back when they released Nu Mixx. Also Toss It Up alternate beach version has never been officially released either.

As far as i know, this has been the most major video for it and its fan-made. Yet stil pretty decent, and apparently popular

Thanks. I'm not really into all those fan made videos. I think that Gobi's would be no better thank this though. I was hoping to see Pac really rhyming to Life goes on and that there was a whole video of that.. ehh.

^ Keep in mind that Gobi at least has a ton of unreleased behind-the-scenes footage from photo shoots, video shoots, studio sessions, etc. So I'd assume that his video isn't the same re-used music video clips over and over again.

Gobi has a ton of footage. When I interviewed him, it was a few months prior to the Pac's Life album being released.

He said something to me (off the record) that some of the unseen footage might get used for music videos from the next album. I am sure he was referring to the video that was released for the title track, which he directed, but I don't think any unseen footage ended up getting used in it, so I guess he's still holding on to it.

He also said something about there being music videos that nobody has seen and some that fans don't necessarily know about, for certain tracks off All Eyez On Me.

"Life Goes On" was indeed one of them and from the context of the conversation we were having, it was implied that it was a "real" video, but I missed the opportunity of getting him to clarify that.

^ When he said a "real" video, he probably meant that it was official and going to actually be release through Death Row, rather than the "real" that you and I would assume (i.e., an actual video that Pac filmed).

It's interesting about the alleged unreleased videos, always good to hear that there might be more, though it makes me wonder what they're waiting for.

I remember back when some idiot teenager fans tried contacting Gobi to buy footage because he sold stuff at a certain rate (a dollar figure per minute of footage), and the fan had a small amount, and Gobi was like, "I'm not selling you three minutes of footage."

Yeah, that's what I meant when I said I missed the opportunity of getting him to clarify exactly what he meant with regards to that video. I assumed he meant a an actual filmed video as opposed to a clip montage., but I didn't press him on that issue. I should have done, but hey, there was a shitload of stuff I wanted to ask him about and we had a tight schedule. lol.

LOL at morons trying to buy three minutes of footage.

I wonder if there are any real, full unreleased videos. I'd love to see some. I also wonder which songs would get their own videos if Pac was still alive. Yeah another "what if" speculations.

I also wonder what would be the lead single from the One Nation album. From what I know there are no real "bangers" there and no songs that really stand out. More than a half songs from One Nation are already leaked and honestly - most of them are not good at all imo.

The only thing that I'm curious about is why we haven't seen any images or clips of these "unreleased" videos. We didn't get All About U until 1999, but the 2Pac poster of him sitting on the motorcycle from that music video was at least out there. You'd think that maybe a clip of the behind-the-scenes would have made its way onto one of the documentaries, seeing how Gobi had been a source for a lot of that stuff.

Regarding the One Nation album, obviously it wasn't a commercial album; but the fact that it was a 2Pac-endorsed album with him featured on it along with him combining forces with East Coast rappers already would've given it enough publicity at the time. I'd say it was more of an album for the hip-hop heads, given the general sound and feel of the album. "Set It Off" probably would've been one of the singles, given its familiar chorus.

Okay, how about people give their ideas on what the 'Life goes on' video should be like? You know, themes, filming style, story lines etc......

That is true, but think about how many pictures of 'Pac are out there. There may be one or two pictures that we've all seen, that are from an unreleased video, but maybe they just look like normal pictures, so it's not obvious that they come from a video. If the unreleased videos were shot on location rather than on a set, then this would be a likely possibility.

In "Life goes on" Pac actually paints a story for us so I'd see it more like Pac doing actually what he's rhyming about. Overall I would see it more like "I ain't mad at cha" type of video but with Pac walking on the streets in more casual clothes or something.
