r u still down? (with Jon B)

I doubt that it was recorded in September 1996. I remember an interview from YEARS ago with Jon B. Now don't hold me to this, but I think he said that he met Pac through Johnny "J" while he was recording "How Do U Want It" in the studio, then they recorded some time after that, presumably after All Eyez on Me was released. Perhaps somebody (Dante?) could fill us in to confirm or deny my hazy recollection of events?

when i first put together my r u still down album i had the jon b track as track 3 instead of r u still down... i didn't find out until last year when i bought the album that track 3 was w/o jon b :eek:

Any one know? for some reason In my head there was some shit about Jon saying recorded around the time of VMA's that year

I accidently did that when I made a copy of the album for my homie. But I always knew the difference in the songs.
