Settling down

I am on my way 2 find my path again
No more depressed 'n' helpless, gotta be a man
I was lost for almost 3 weeks, who could blame
a soul 2 lose control? Who could claim
2 be all good, everyday, all the time
something would be wrong with your mind
seriously - it's just important 2 get up
there is a brigther day - even though you're fed up
with those words - they are still true
If I can succeed? I have no clue
but once more I try - not yet supposed 2 die
I'm here 2 let the world know that I said 'hi'

Plain & Simple Str8 Gangsta poem menace. I was FEELIN this in some kind of deep. After reading some of your poems throughout the months I've been on here, I think I can summarize your personality a bit. You got a good heart, you just ain't into bein' good just be nice to other people. That cool. Stay that way. Be authenic in your person til you die cuz thats all that matter at tha end of tha day. All you got is you. Thru your poem, you let me know were in a bad position at some point, but its good that your tryin 2 come back up

Well, after readin the poem today, I gotta say if you don't know the situation and all it's probably hard to understand. Ain't nothing changin it's still tommy, you know, my old poems, that is still me, it's not like I'm all good suddenly. I just realized a couple of things and it helped me to feel better. Losin focus, well, that means to drift from a healthy productive drug use into a bad drug use, also called abuse. If you livin a certain way, it's not that easy to differentiate, it's not that clear. Besides that I realized a couple of other things I don't wanna share right here, but it helped me, I felt better, wrote that poem and felt like PJ needs an update anyway, so I posted it. Nothing major.

Thx for replyin Kadafi. I dunno why you call that gangsta, but well. Glad you liked it, my personality? See, I'm still there for other people, who else could I live for but caring so much sometimes, and again, that's not always easy to realize, it's just ... a lot you know. I understood that I gotta take care of myself now for a short time, I need it. I'll be back, but right now I stopped goin out, spend more time alone, cut down drink - u know, just gather strength to be able to handle all this, but never I'd say that I'm the only person that matters at the end of the day, not at all, that's not me - it's rather 180° around, that's what God or Buddha taught us. And I try to listen.

Sigh, I might be on be I dunno if I have time to talk, but catch ya soon baby and do me a favor and give some feedback,

This poem is SO MUCH more positiver than all the other ones I've seen and read. It makes me think that the trip down to madagas--changed your outlook on life? Or if not changed your outlook, but changed something inside to produce something more positive than your other work?

well no, it didn't change my outlook on life. Like I explained before, I was down right and I got back to where I've been before (just a lil more focus, wilder, unpredicable) ..... I didn't change 180°, it just felt good to get out of this deep hole.... but like I said, I might be right now where I've been before, it's not like I'm all good, all happy, all different now. But hey people, I do write positive poetry too... ya all are so surprised lol.... it just doesn't happen too often,

But about ya poem, I know you didn't change. Being a poet gives you the ability to know how you feel in different times and space. But I just wanted 2 get dat across 2 u...peace
