Someone has copies of all my credit cards...including my debit card. They have video of him buying an ipod touch (WTF IS UP WITH PPL HAVING TO HAVE A FVCKING IPOD!?!?!?!) and visa gift cards.

I hope they let me look at the video. I hope it's the same person that broke into my car and I hope he gets a.ss r@ped in prison.

Stay tuned next week to see what else can go wrong in my world.

It can only be the same person who broke into your car. It's not a coincidence that this happens within a week of each other

It's just really strange bc my credit card was in my console with money and my digital camera (I do realize how dumb this is...plz don't remind me) and they didn't take anything out of the console.

They caught him on video...he's not in jail or even been identified yet.

A lot of people put "Please see ID" on their credit card to help with identity theft.

Sometimes, I'm lazy, if I see the signature on the card, I don't have to (by law where I live) check their ID b/c the signature is supposedly valid enough for ID.

However, If I see "Please Check ID" or something, then I am generous and do it.

Maybe you can try that?

Also, the Cashier must have been really fucking stupid to accept a woman name for a guy? :eek:h:

I at least check that shit.

^Yea I'm pretty pissed about that too...he used it twice before he made it go over the limit...and even after that I wasn't notified. AND I pay for identity protection every month:suspicious: I'm supposed to be notified of any suspicious activity on my account.

FAIL :*(

That's one hell of a fail and how much do you pay for that?

Sucks that your identity got stolen...I can't say much about you putting your shit in your console, I do the same. I figure, what are the odds it'll happen to ME?!

I guess now I know.
How did they catch them on video? Where did it happen?

Man that sucks. Luckily it doesnt sound like your identity was stolen in the sense that they fucked up your credit and got loans etc under your name.
Your cc charges should be covered by your cc company??

if you pay the identity theft protection does that mean you will won't actually be charged for all the stuff that's been put on your credit card?

^supposedly.

It's like a small fee off of what your balance is.

If no one ever steals your identity, they make a bunch of $ off you.

But, if someone does, they make this BIG ASS investigation to see if you are not attempting fraud.

THEN they go after the person. Then if they find out it wasn't you or something, they just remove what wasn't you.

Sad, really...
