I'm an up and coming producer. i've just got started and i still have no idea what i'm doing. i use Fruity Loops 5 Trial Version. it's tha same thing as tha regular version but i can't save things so that sucks. i still don't understand half of tha stuff on Fruity Loops. just about 2 weeks ago i figured out what stuff i can hold out and which stuff i can't. i still don't know where to find instruments and sounds that i wanna use. i made this beat last night in about 20 minutes. if you could give me any tips or give me feedback if would be appreciated :thumb:.

Is there a way to get different hits/kicks and other sounds to use in fruity loops or do you only have the choice to use the ones it came with?

It sounds pretty good but, the piano sounds pretty bad.

you can d/l kits. i d/l a dr. dre kit and it comes with different kicks and snares. yeah i used tha "dark" piano.

This is an old thread, but oh well. In your FL directory, go to Data, then Patches, and from here either go to Packs for the directory of the sounds FL came with or just go to User so you can keep all the stuff you download or whatever in one place. This is really unnecessary because you can do it an easier way but it's less organized, that is just dragging and dropping the sound from your hard drive to the mixer in FL.
