Tha Realest & Ballad Of A Dead Soldier?

The original vocals for Ballad weren't up to scratch, The Realest was used to patch them up and add another layer.

This has been confirmed by various industry insiders, people that worked on the album, and producers.
Yeah, that's what I've heard also. Any sources confirm on what lyrics he 'patched up'?

If this is true, im officially not buying any of new albums in the future....

I dont even care for future releases anymore, what we have here now is a fake product, it wouldnt surprice me if they started to cut out Pac's acapellas to form the alphabet, so they could cut n' paste new tracks out of it.

watch out for the new Pac's lyrics by the outlawz...

"ItS mE, pAc wHitH dA gOaTEE"

The Fakest been used for a patching work on missing vocals not related to the main vocal layer. the 3 verses you hear is PAC; the homo just laid a few "ballad of a dead soulja" lines here and there in the choruses and the outro background.

this shit doesnt even go as far as what Eminem did to 2pac's...cough.. amaru's LTTG album

The Realest used it as leverage to get out of his deal with Death Row. The people that told us the information first asked Jon and I not to leak it for fear of retaliation, they were very specific. We have since heard information that was more "vague", and thus posted a reflection of that info.

It happened. People weren't happy. People were silenced. People know about it, it's one of the skeletons in the industry closet.

Also, his voice was altered to make him sound MORE like Tupac, its not like they just took his voice straight out and put it over Pac's, they filtered it. If you listen to the song really closely, in my opinion, you can tell that something is "off" about the vocals.

Im sick of kissing the ass of the powers that be. And Ive heard it from enough people now that my original source (from when the album first came out) doesnt need to worry. It pretty much is common knowledge now.

I'm so gutted i just read that about The Realest, Ballad.. Is one of my favourite Pac tracks ever and i dont think ill ever listen to it the same anymore :(

iam sorry, I don't belive it. I have consitently being listening to the track, especially when Pac says Balled of a Dead Soulja in the chorus. If you increase the voloume, it is definately Pac, without a shadow of a doubt. Even the outro is Pac.
There is no evidence in this song that Tha Realist was present on the record. It seems to me, people of got too much beef with Amaru and are looking at anything to pull them down.

What does pac say in the second or third layer at 0:04 seconds.... its underneath the first Ballad of a dead soulja and he or the realeast says it really fast...

'the situation's "critical"' sounds kinda off.. also the' "take" a private plane' sounds off listen to it carefully.

They wouldn't bnother with the outro, (since they cut so many short - lil homies, unborn child and troublesome 96) so it has to mean pac missed a few words in recording and they redid them clearer..

I find this post, very disrepectaful to Pac, and posts like this is ruining the legacy.
Tha Realist is not on this track - FACT!
For Pac fans who are reading this, do not take notice.

I can't belive we are having this conversation, so Iam gunna put it like this.

If you think tha realist appeared on Ballad of a Dead Soulija, that is not only an insult to Tupac, but it is insult to the legacy.
Listen to the track, I can't belive it has come to this.

^yes. it doesn't sound good.

shame about BOADS but I suppose it enabled us to at least hear it, although I don't condone the use of the realest at all.

Oh, and mattnick until you have a reliable source no-one will beleive you. FACT.
