no, as i remember it (mind you, this was more than 10 years ago), i recieved the cap, with a note saying the membership card etc would follow shortly. which it never did.

same thing happened when i applied for the eazy-e fan club as well.
that's how hip hop fan clubs were in the 90's. i remember ordering a too short baseball hat when cocktales came out and i didn't receive it for well over 2 years. a couple hats and a t-shirt arrived and it took me all day to finally remember that i even ordered that shit. at least you got this letter... i tried to track down the fan club manager a couple years back and came up with nada.

underground - you seem like a smart old school cat. you should post more often.

regarding all these fan clubs, yeah you're right. i know that many times they were just handled by the record labels. however, as for the 2Pac and Eazy-E fan clubs, i'm pretty sure the artists themselves were involved (to certain extent), like with Eazy-E (the $5 it cost was to be sent directly to Ruthless Records, hehe). and 2Pac did live in Georgia (right?) so he must've seen what was going on. from time to time. but as far as not receiveing goods, and not in time, i was never suprised.

too bad you never located the fan club manager. he / she should be sitting on a lot of interesting facts, such as the question to where all the 2Pacalypse Ent. fan club items are stored today? if they weren't trashed that is.

yeah dante, there have been many times i've been about to post, but you always beat me to it. hehe.

and since my biggest fan-days of 2Pac were around 91-95, that's were my knowledge is the heaviest.
