The Official 2PacBoard.com Poetry for Tupac Contest!

This year will be the 11th anniversary of Tupac's death, and to celebrate his life we are holding an official 2PacBoard.com Poetry for Tupac contest!

Tupac influenced many of us in our lives to better ourselves and express our feelings, whether through art, music, film or poetry. At 2PacBoard.com we not only celebrate the life of Tupac, but also his influence and thus his fans.

The winning poem will be chosen on September 13th and emailed to our mailing list as well as posted on our site.

To enter all you have to do is email poetry@2pacboard.com and please don't forget to include your name at the bottom of the poem so we can credit you with your hard work!

Time

It is strange, strange and beautiful
Never to know what it is

And still, how much of what lives inside us
Is older then we are, how much of that will live on

The way a baby looks at something inside
Herself, something sees there
From the past

The way Pac raps on his last tracks
Like he is feeling he is going somewhere
Far beyond our eyes

It’s strange, strange but beautiful
To realize no one will ever remember
That we were once here

So think about the way we live right now
But also realize our lives would be empty
Without the echoes of the past in our heads

It’s not the time that passes, its me
And you....
Outside of our mind there is no time

The scotish summers meant to be coming
the clear summer sky and the birds are hummin
aw tha gardens full of families trying to get a heat
ladiez full of baby oil gossiping to everyone they meet.
millions a weans everywhere playing in the street.
half the weans in the scheme no tops on burning like meat.
loads of ladies bikinis on butter on their skin
trying to get the best tan thinking am gonnae win.
all the ladiez lyin on their bellys not alot of clothes on
they fall asleep the clouds appear shit the sun iz gone.

winds are strong pissin and pouring down
woman aw screamin och am no even brown.
suns back out streets are mobbed once again
a few hours later hailstones start wi rain
big fuck off rocks bouncin about
brakin car windaes weans all scream and shout.
kids in the ladies runnin about greetin from their hailstone shower
their skins al red in swollen from the hailstones power.
streets now all empty but you still hear the wails
people aw feel caged up like thev aw beeen kept in jails.

The skys clear up the suns creeping out
first sign of any life iz a woman wi her fag doubt.
sun tan seekers all come out their homes
back in their garden shifting aw their garden gnomes.
sun goes away starts to freeze wind gets very strong
woman aw go back in their hooses to change their thong.
aw the guys have been out wi sum buds listining to the football
farting n sleeping huvnae moved at all.
snowing winds now blizzard starts to appear
comes n gos in twenty minutes aw fuck snow in the mens beer.
sun returns to say hello scottish summer at itz prime
so come to scotland and witness tha scottish summertime .
